bump!
I'm still waiting on some info on this. Has there been any indication about us getting a health bonus? C'mon devs.. you can at least lock this thread and make us angry.... I hate being ignored.

Now that the elite professions are unlocked on TC5, has anyone confirmed this yet?

Question, I looked on the forum, and I couldn't find how many boxes you need to max out your HAM. If your HAM maxes out with only one combat prof mastered, then (since most Rangers need to master a combat prof anyways) I would think that most rangers would still get their HAM maxed out.

my concern isn't the health.
it's the CL.
of course, health is a SYMPTOM of CL... so lots of people are looking at it.
but health means NOTHING.
CL is the only factor in survivability right now.
one of my group disbanded to test the /cover special (which isn't working so far) and instantly aggro'd one of the mobs in the area...
grouped, he was tanking it (because of the hate system, and his higher DPS). he was also surviving, despite his group role as 'nuker'.
ungrouped, he lasted for all of two hits.
you can have 3k health... but if your CL is lower than the mob that aggros you:
you won't hit it.
it will hit you.
it will hit you hard.
your health won't be an issue.
you buffs won't be an issue.
your defenses won't be an issue.
your armor won't be an issue.
3k health goes away awfully fast when incoming damage scales upward exponentially. 15k hit? they're out there. solo groups will be back, if only to allow CL1 crafters to 'ghost' a CL beyond them to make a run on harvs.
the HEALTH is not the issue. the CL is.

Don't you mean you'd like to teach a Rancor how to solo Tiggs?

What I find the most stupid is that Doc's, who SHOULD be spending their time in the med center, get a health bonus. Ok Combat medics maybe, they are a support class who's roots are soundly formed in, lets see being a COMBAT Medic.
Rangers are also a support class when grouped, expecting us to lead groups to creatures with tracking, care for people in camps, use traps on creatures that everyone else fights BUT not actually getting involved in combat, is plain dumb. Solo Rangers, the ones who do most of the high qauntity hide/bone/meat collection require combat to fullfil that role.
If you get 3k Health for mastering a SINGLE elite combat class then fair enough, we can JUST about do that, if not then we are again being royally "BEEPED" by the devs.
How would it be after the CU if EVERY ranger started selling recourses for 500cpu.. or not hunting altogether, the economy would soon start to feel the pinch. As was said, no Armour, no meds no chef stuff..
Rangers have to put up with so much, but they get on with it hoping one day it will get fixed, but no.. if anything due to the increase in SP requirements for Elite combats, we are worse off now than we ever have been.
