Ok now I have a question. I'm about to finish my alt who will be MCH/MRanger/Marksman 4114. Those who have combined MCH with MRanger how do you like it? I've always wanted to try CH, so I am /wink, and I miss master ranger so much, glowsticks get old after a bit.
How is hunting using this template? Do you all find it different but as efficient as say Mrifles, MCarbines etc...? Just curios. If you want to PM me instead of replying here that's fine. I dont' want to step on anyone's paws.

I'm MCH/MR right now (have been for a long time) with the rest in medic, novice marksman (for the kd recovery) and some FS and I'd have to say it is pretty much a group-only and RP only template IMHO, unless you like taking a half-hour to kill a nuna. And you do still do enough damage to outdamage pets with a good CL50+ cert weapon. Example: LD-1 Rifle with novice marksman modified DPS at 284.25 / sec. My CL70 huurton does 99-396 damage ( I believe that's every 2 seconds ).
Yeah that's what I pretty much figured.... but it's not going to stop me from trying at least a couple of times. I decided to scrap marksman in place of artisan and merchant. I have a buddy who, pre-cu mind you, was successful with mr/mch template. I'm thinking with a nice adv laser rifle and a basic attack it'll be possible to collect hides and stuff. I'll give it a go and see what happens. So far i'm liking the combination of CH/Ranger. I admit I have some time before i master the profs.
Why merchant? I want to create a "hunting Lodge" with ranger/scout specific vendors. So I guess I"ll find out if the whole thing will work and if not... well say bubye to CH hehe. I dropped ranger once... never again.
Well done Phenix. Excellent guide, been away for awhile and just read it. I"m always site specific where I hunt solo, for big things anyway, can't be stated enough, use the hills, mtns and terrian to your advantage.
Helpful also is make your traps via factory, you can carry more.
Love the small mentions of our traps that are "useless".![]()
