Sounds like I missed a great event. I wanted to make it but it turns out I had to work our schools "Technology Garage Sale" which they didn't even advertise so like 5 people showed up all day Maybe next time.

If we move this to a sunday, I may be late getting there, as I sometimes dont get out of church untill afternoon. Just let me know if its going to change. I would love to meet Fred

I really do want to keep these meets going. Kinda like the idea of sticking with Wanderhome. It wouldn't take all that long for us to get to Ranger. Besides, the server name fits the profession.

I knew that would happen, which is why I wanted TC. Now I will have to start yet another char that won't really be like my main. The thing is, to do it right I have to be Scout/Marksman/Med/Swordsman/Arti and do a bunch of grinding just to prepare... which takes away from hunting time for contracts

Don't worry Fred - we are all noobs on these hunts! Getting the xp goes really fast - it was amazing! Tash went from Novice scout to almost 4,0,3,0 in 3 hours! So you don't have to grind... just murderize kreetles with the rest of us!

Plus I am a MID (almost, just need 60 more AP) on Wanderhome so I can make you look just perfect! I think Calc was a little disgruntled about the "wilderness makeovers" though.

BTW Calc, if you need any reimbursement for the Doc who saved our butts constantly let me know. If we do this enough and become Rangers I think we should go find the Gorax. It would be the perfect prize!

Doc is fine, he was excited to join us, and was very happy that he got to use his med skills for something other than buffing . As for the wilderness makeovers...it wasn't a big deal, I just wanted to get us killed by a krayt . It really was a good time for all! There were requests for training after every kill...I found that funny.

have you considered submitting this for screenshot of the day?...i know its not much toward getting "ranger day" known to the public, but i think it'd be neat... (if not this time, maybe next ranger meet - when i can be there... heh)

although... maybe ehope should submit the one with calc being called a dork... hehe... (last big get together i had we had a crawl race too... gotta love the SLs levelling the playing field... think there are some photos of that at my PA's website)

Rumor has it that particular doc is not exactly hurting for credits or resources. That may just be a rumor though .

I thought I'd stop by your little corner of the forums and let you all know that it was a good time from my end too. I haven't struggled that much to keep a group healed for quite a while. I will never forget seeing someone say "I love Combat Medics" in groupchat. I wish I'd thought to take a screenshot of that, for I will probably never see it again.

You guys have no idea how much flack I caught from Calc for letting him be the first one to incap. For the record, it was a womp rat (can't remember specifically if it was a giant or mutant, but one of those) that incapped Calc, and it was indeed an entire squad of Stormtroopers that killed him.

It would have been fun had we found a Krayt, but I think the group was challenged none the less.

I'll get back to my own forums, er I mean my job, now. Good hunting to all you Rangers.
