That was a blast.

I would be the short, dark, Bothan (Otiok) in front. We should do this regularly.

Of course I get blocked out of the picture, LOL.

This was great fun. I haven't had fun like that in a long time. I agree on doing another one. Being in Sicilly right now, I would have to know way in advance as to when myself and Reyune could do it. I have some friends that would most likely help us out.

I do have a a couple questions.

1. Do the Dev's know about this?

2. Have any of the other professions done this?

3. Why is Tash not in my Galaxy?

4. If some of us are still around upon Enbow's return, can we have another get together to throw a "party"?

Whenwe do it again, it might be worth sticking to the same galaxy. That way we can actually get to the point where a krayt hunt isn't as silly as it sounded this time. Imagine if you had 15 Master Rangers out there tracking for krayts. If people do want to do it on another server, I might be willing to host one. But I'd have trouble bringing anything other than a Master Squad Leader (my guild doesn't actually have any CMs and the Doctor is just someones alt). But it would make people crawl a bit faster (+60 TN) and get hit a bit less (+30 ranged and melee defense). And I could keep people from harvesting (/rally) . Although I could just work up to SL on Wanderhome or TC as well...

As for TC, the main problem is installation size and problems. We would probably end up excluding a few people by holding it on TC, even if we would get some good testing in.

I had more fun yesterday than I have had in such a long time!

It really holds true, that the game is not about soloing, its about finding a good group of people, going out and having a hellova lot of fun.

(I noticed that in one of Ehope's pictures, she caught me taunting our fearless leader) hopefully I wont suffer any reprisals or beatings for calling him a dork

One of the things I noticed is that xp really flows in when you arent watching the xp meter, having fun really improves the experience ... its amazing that a massive group of newbies (and the uber-calc) can actually take out a dragonet nest

I am definately going to continue this char and hunt with you all as much as possible.

In all fairness, I didn't incap to the kreetles..it was a giant womp rat . And i died at the hands of a stormtrooper. If my Doc wasn't taking care of all you newbs, he could have healed me! He did say he used ~250 stims yesterday...

I will post pics when I can.

THanks for hunting and I am glad things went well. I really liked the harvesting ameoba that spammed me with harvesting messages every time something died. . I would like to develop our characters on WH so we can hunt bigger and better things, but I am open to playing on other servers.

I wish I hadn't missed it. Unfortunately, events conspired against me.

Next time, I'll definitely be there.

Oh i forgot my masterpiece...please note the magnificent poise of wooden brooding on participants faces...a triumph of method acting, i must say; almost as good as keanu's.

The meet on WH was excellent, but I've noticed a couple of people mention having one on TC but then bailing on that idea because of the download size, etc. Having had to re-install TC on a second machine here recently I'm going to risk wandering off topic to mention that you can make the process a little shorter by doing the following:

Start the install of TC from the Launch Pad.
Wait till the directory structure is set up and it starts trying to download files. Hit cancel.
CAREFULLY copy your exisiting SWG set up across to the new Test Centre folders. (I mean REALLY carefully, and COPY, don't move, oh, and you're doing this entirely at your own risk and I'm not advocating it, nope, no way, not me!)
This could take 45 minutes or so depending on your machine.
Now, open Launch Pad again, select Test Centre and it's going to start trying to do the install. This time however there will already be files IN the directories and you are only going to get hit with updated files.

TC is fairly stable and you do get the advantage(?) of seeing some of the new gadgets and geegaws ahead of time. Also, in the run up to the Jedi launch, there are more of them running about, or will be shortly.

Downside is that we'd all be starting as novices. Oh, and an influx of 20 people would probably cr*p it out...
