I cant believe why so many dumb ass people in other forums are asking why this change has been implemented and even saying that solo grouping is vital in a game like this. What the hell? A solo group? A SOLO group? What dont these people understand about grouping?

I swear to god, it realy shows some peoples complete lack of intelligence when the critisise this decision and ask the devs to explain themselves. I mean even my pet goldfish understands, why cant these powergamer hippies?

I think i'm just plain bad luck. caused 2 groups to all die in the last week. I guess I better just stick with my Droid Engineer/Tailor Alt for a while.

Tamer's are nuts though, I found one with 2 rancors, I took the rancors down, no buff, no armour and no VK, just +melee clothes and stat food. I then healed up was about to move on and the Tamer agroed me, one hit and I was a blob on the forest floor.

Thortac,

Thats how i feel looking at it. And i even had that discussion with a member of my guild last night who said he'd quit over it. Hes 16 and doesnt quite understand the idea of inflation. And it doesnt seem any of them understand the idea of the words solo and group were never meant to be put together.

I have a Damage Stimpack from the Nightsister themepark. Serious pain in the rear trying to do this park with -5000 faction but that's an aside. This particular stimpack is junk. Heals for 200 or so and has only 8 uses.

Makes a nice piece for my loot collection though.

i wish they'd add them as craftable items.

maybe make it a quest schematic similar to the scythe quest.

and require Master Medic to craft it using maybe specific named materials.

do not want Stims like these to be too abundant, but i think it would be a neat addition to the Medic profession.

I suspect the combat revampgradebalfix will introduce these items, since mind healing has been touted.

I think even needed a solo group to get missions is retarded! I'm a master swordsman / master doctor, and I have the ability to solo almost everything in the game! Oreet and I even killed a SBD in Death Watch before, because of my ability to heal and put out serious damage, and his ability to tank. If, per say, SBDs were creatures that you could take for a mission, imagine the group required to even have it show up.

But you are not supposed to be able to solo anything in the game (so why call the system names?).

I guess what I'm saying is I think needing 20 people to pull a janta mission when everyone goes out and has no problem soloing them is retarded to begin with. If they want to solve the problem, then make every single possible mission available to everyone. If a n00b wants to go take on some Jantas, well that is his/her decision. Just lower the payout.

Despite my previous comment, I think (and always have thought) that anyone should be able to pull any mission they want.

I think if the devs want to really control inflation, then when a person dies, they should lose a percent of credits on their person. I have been trying to figure this out for a while. Why does anyone put money in a bank, because it doesn't seem like I EVER LOSE ANY WHEN I DIE.

For tipping someone who isn't near you (it is also part of the old corpse runs where any money you had on stayed on your body, but anything in the bank could still be retrieved from the bank.

This would bring the economy back to normal REAL QUICK! A lot of people would get upset if they were in Geono for an entire buff, and dies on the way out, and lost half their credits, but hey, it makes more sense than earning $30k+ for a 4 enemy janta mission and "solo groups".

No one dies anymore...

Mine are in green.

i died yesterday.

my battle fatigue was around 570 or so due to JTL Deaths. So my 2400 or so buff was actually a little under 1400. so Mr. Giant Kimogilla kicked my little rodian rear last night.

Yeah, what's with this 'nobody dies' guff, Mr SoonToBeGlowie????

Some of us die regular and are d&mned proud to do so! I arrive in Espa, get tef'd by the ST's, let them kill me, clone. No tef and I seem to be 'flagged' for the rest of the session as any time I get scanned after that I'm clean.

Some of us don't hunt with a doc loaded with rez packs on the speed dial of our chatbar. Heck, some of us are lucky to see a doc in weeks playing. I've got to know the different clone bays of the galaxy just from their smell...

And now I'm going to rant, so sensitive souls might want to look away....

Some of us are dying with monotonous regularity due to a half bass ackwards game engine that's CTD'ing every time we fire a flippin' weapon and try to loot or harvest. Most times, after I've managed to scrape the remains of SWG off the monitor, put out the small fires caused by stray particle effects leaping out of my screen and into my hair, logged out of my system and back in, reconnected to the hinternet and then, and only then, got back into the game, I find myself with a nice pile of harvestable corpses at my feet.

The rest of the time I log back in and find myself waiting for the clone bus.

As a result I've not hunted in nearly a week and there's only so much (£$&__)() decorating a guy can do in his house before he NEEDS to kill stuff.

OK, rant over. I'm back to being Mr Positive Smiley Chap.

Hey, Paks... lookin' good.... (oh crikey, overcompensated with the caffeine/sugar rush that time...)

oh, and don't even start me about my TC toons. Ones locked in limbo following a bad veterans award experience, another is stuck in space despite not having JtL installed and the other is staying in the salon in Theed, drinking gin and making eyes at passing commandos....

Oh, laugh! Laugh why don't you. I'm having a bl**dy hard time of it, I am. Am fillin' up here..

My crafter player, Teero, dies quite often. I wish someone would come by and pick up those damn Marooned pirates that like to hang around my harvesters and factories.

I dropped my coffee laughing at that. Ach, I'll blame the dog, he looks guilty anyways.

I saw / read/ heard somebody whine the other day "But if I can't solo I can't make a reasonable living at this game, what's the point..."

A reasonable living? It's furpin' virtual credits,. Just numbers on a screen. A score, if you like, but it's not a living wage!

OK OK so he's maybe got a spice problem ingame and can't afford the really classy twi'leks so has to slum it with trandos, but, aaaaaaaaaaaargh...

(Just out of curiosity I started a totally fresh toon the other day, stuck her on a bike and did recon missions for an hour or so on Theed. 50k! FIFTY flippin grand! Not ONCE did she need to use a weapon (couldn't anyway as she was driving) Armour? Buffs? Do what???

OK, so that's one totally novice no skill still got a green droid stuck to her butt toon who can afford to buy a house, pay the rent on it till Christmas and matey up there 'can't make a reasonable living' ????

I think I'm channelling JB. Weird.
