Cheers, and good luck to us all. Oh, and don't forget to strip your spaceships. Like right now.

uhhh, why? CU affects ground game not space.

Ok just answered my own question, logged on to TC4 and my ship now has a cargo hold, one weapon ended up inside it, one weapon was still in one of the 3 weapon slots, my chaff launcher was in another weapon slot instead of the countermeasure slot, and one of my weapons had totally dissapeared. I just logged into live and stripped my ship. I hope that is just a TC bug, I happened to just be running player made guns in my weapon slots right now but I can see where someone might lose a nice looted one and be really upset. Man I can't believe they're gonna push this buggy nerf to Live. Yay, further testing on TC shows that the ship actually still has the "lost" gun installed because when pulling everything off the TC version there is a phantom mass and energy amount showing up but even in space no weapon shows as being installed. With all parts removed the mass and energy should both read 0/xxxx, for instance my mass reads 14000/110000.

Ok, we all need to strip our ships, take screenshots of our inventories, get to safe locations to be able to log back in post CU, redo our toons, etc. For the power gamers and forum watchers they may be able to suspend their RL and get this stuff done. What about the majority of players who are not aware of what is coming.

Scene1: Happy casual SWG player boots up his computer and decides to get a little play time in. They click on their launchpad and .... "downloading new combat upgrade.. remaining time 100 hours"

Scene2(100 hours later): Not so happy casual SWG player gets ready to play and launches SWG. Looking at his/her new interface he wonders what happened totheir game. He/she pulls up their inventory and half the items are missing and all his weapons and armor are different.

Scene3: Not happy at all casual SWG player decides to just ignore the stuff he sees and ventures out of the spaceport and sees a simple kreetle. They have killed millions of these things so they target it and BAM! they are on their back and incapacitated. The player wonders what was the deal, so tries again and BAM! they are at the cloners. Wondering what is going on they venture back out but after 20 more trips to the cloners they log out frustrated.

Scene4: Angry SWG player decides to try again to figure out what is going on. However after 30 mins of getting killed they log out.

Scene5: Happy SWG player calls SOE and cancels account thereby saving themselves money and using their saved money goes to the pub for a beer where he meets all his fellow guildies who also have cancelled their accounts.

Well, we get another night to work it out. I missed it last night by 12k xp but it was because I was having more fun leading a friend on a rancor hunt. He needed 50k xp for TKA and ended up only 8k short. It was more fun that way.

Judging from the posting times "all nighter" seems to be standard workhours at SOE's austin studio for quite a while...

That was a different episode, but hada similar premise, where Homer led a mob of Springfieldians to bring that fancy-pants cat burgler to justice.

Oh, Dead, don't forget to hire an NPC actor to help you protest. Personally I'd hire a Twi'lek female, but hey, to each his own.

Hey Deadtech?

<In his best Ralph voice> "I love revenging!"

We will be doing something major if /conceal isn't fixed when the CU goes live. Not a open protest with spammed messages, though. I can think of a few things that are legally annoying .
