ROFL, just stuck my head into planet chat on one of my Live servers, asked if anyone knew when the servers were getting converted to CU...

Not that I doubt you, Owen, but do you have a priviledged source for this beyond the post by Tiggs? That one is so funky that I have a real hard time convincing myself that it means that the CU *itself* is going live, although parts of it sure seem to suggest that. But if you've heard it from a red name elsewhere, I'd say there's no doubt.

Umm. Yikes. I'm used to being a paying tester the first month or so of an MMO launch, but the CU code right now has a lot of basic UI stuff that will really p*ss off live players, and could easily be fixed with under a week more of testing (heck, a lot of the UI problems were introduced recently). Well, I'm glad to hear that you correspondents are making a ruckus for us, but please try to make it a ruckus that doesn't get anybody else banned... We really need you guys now.

Goto go live, it says this week.

Eclipse update is today in a couple of hours, then its staggered for all the other servers up until friday.

Also on the launchpad it says combat upgrade publish so im thinking it is.

Anyways we will find out for sure late tommorow but we all know what to expect.

This is a very bad idea on their part, the CU is showing promise but its not ready for Implementaion on live!! A lot of people are going to make quick judgements and leave before they actually make it decent!! I don't want all my friends to leave while I tough it out!!

uhhh, why? CU affects ground game not space.
