Thread: Multi-professions and Rangers
Master Scout (duh)
Master Ranger
Master Carbineer
And from my math, that's all I can get.. but I see people mastering Ranger, a weapon, and something else, so I must be way bonkers. @_@
If I have anything left, I'll take up Creature Handling (Wookiee!) and/or Squad Leader, just so I /sysmsgtogroup "OMFG WOULD YOU @#$%ING KNEEL/PRONE IF NOT BEING AGGRO'D!?" while the Brawler gets the shiz knocked out of him (poor Brawler..)
At the moment
Ranger 2/2/2/3
Marksman 4/4/3/4
Creature Handler 1/1/0/0
I have been going along until last night with the odd combo of Novice Ranger/Novice Tailor. Sewing gave me something to do in camps on the way up through scout. But, last night I dumped Novice Tailor so now I have:
Master Scout/Novice Ranger: 1/1/1/3 (I have crafted enough traps that I have enough unused crafting points to take levels 1 thru 3 in the Merchant tree...)
Marksman: Pistol 4, Ranged Support 4 (Will probably dump Ranged 4when/if I need the points)
Artisan: Domestic arts 4, Survey 4 (Tailoring got less interesting than exlporing...so there it goes)
Novice level in Medic and Entertainer, as I never "group" but am always out in the middle of nowhere, and need to be a bit more self-sufficient. (I hang out with my husband,a Bio-En, or a friend, a scout, but never more than one or two other people. )
Right now I have quite a few points left, especially if I continue to dump Domestic Arts, but we'll see where the XP starts to stack up before I truly decide what to do with them, plus I still have to have enough to get up to Master Ranger. I've considered CH, but it doesn't appeal, I've looked at continuing up to Pistoleer, but I'm not likely to get into the high level fighting, especially since I prefer to solo. I may go into the business of resource gathering and selling, since I am out there wandering around anyway, might as well plop down some harvesters.

I am a:
Master Ranger
Expert Bounty Hunter (Pistol)
Pistoleer 0/0/0/1
I had no idea I was so original.
2 skills unused.
Izzy - Starsider - TIO
Master Scout
Novice Ranger 3 1 1 2
Marksman 0 4 0 4
Pistoleer 0 0 2 0
Medic 0 0 2 3
Artisan 4 0 0 4
And here is the plan:
Master Scout
Master Ranger
Marksman 0 4 0 3
Pistoleer 0 4 3 0 (or maybe 0 3 4 0)
and the rest is as yet undecided, but I can tell ya it wont be much, lol. Especially if I go for more pistoleer skills.

I'm going for a hunting guide:
Master Scout
Master Ranger
Quickdraw Artist (Pistoleer with pistol marksmanship I- IV)
Guardsman (Marksman withRanged Weapon Support I-IV)
First Responder (Medic with Pharmacology I-IV, and Organic Chemistry I)
Squad Leader (with one skill tree maxed...waiting to see the changes to that profession...alternately I may keep Novice Entertainer)
I enjoy leading groups on hunting expeditions, so this seems to be the build for me. In the long run I may convert my Pistol skills to Rifle skills...if the Riflemen can someday survive melee...not enough skill points to pick up enough brawler skills.
