Oh but you should, it's quite amusing towards the end.

True, it is quite amusing towards the end. I'd recommend reading it. Let's see, I've got Master Scout, so why don't I just go ahead andtrain Novice Ranger so I can continue to read the hilarity on the Ranger boards. Even more hilarious than the spanking given to the kindergartener are the attempts to get back on topic, an impossibility when a thread has been hijacked as soundly as this. Good stuff. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

But Hijacking is sooooooo fun!

In fact they should add a new profession: the Hijacker

Possible abilities:

1. put a gun to the ticket droid's head and force the shuttle time down to 0

2. dont like taking TWO shuttles to get to your destination? if you're a master hijacker, that shuttle is going exactly where YOU want it to!

3. that guy over there has a mountorvehicleyou want? no problem!

4. AT-ST's keep stealing your kills? no problem either!

5. ability to hijack threads on the forums, including those that have been dev or moderator closed.

6. ability to make parents sue SOE when they find out what this game is offering to their children in terms of activity.

haha.. you guys are great. i'm a little late on reading this, but caught myself up on this little flame war, thought i'd throw my opinion in.

first off, i didn't leave necessarily because one person or the other. I left for two reasons: 1) At the time I wanted to pursue other professions and because i knew and respected the "ranger only" rule, I pretty much showed myself to the door. 2) By the time I quit, we were filling orders constantly. This was good at first because it kept me pretty rich, lol. But it was bad at the same time because it got to the point where it was all work, no play.

Now I don't know so much about <DSR> or <AR> in their current state. I do know that Aramus, you had so much of a nonsense attitude that: yes, it kept the guild together, but at times it pulled us apart. I do know, and told you, before I left, that the guild would fall apart without you. I'm sure that when you talked to me about leaving it probably influenced my quitting as well. It takes a specific type of person with a lot of commitment to manage and lead a guild, and even though you were an ass at times, you really put a lot into <AR> when I was part of it; I told you that as well.

I'm not kissing imperial ass or anything, but Aramus did do a lot for the guild, and it wouldn't have been anything without him. I had a blast in the guild when it was in its peak. Probably one of the best guild experiences I've ever had. But things change, **edit** happens, get over it.

my 2 cr.. don't spend it in one place.

I agree, and I was working against that. That was the point of the deal with Csin. People could sell their stuff, work free, without having to take orders.

I'd also like to add that Scott, in all his wisdom, was in favor of MORE work. He wanted to have mandatory hunt attendance, weekly quotas from each member, and a ton of ridiculous math just to figure out who gets what. He also thought special orders should be considered unbreakable promises, so that even if the price of something shoots from 10cpu to 75cpu while we're still hunting it, we should sell to the original buyer, at the original price, and make less money.

More work, more work, more work, and less money. That sound like a good way to run ANY organization?

Maybe that's how being a kindergarten teacher works........

I do know that Aramus, you had so much of a nonsense attitude that: yes, it kept the guild together, but at times it pulled us apart.

Nonsense? Tell me exactly what was it I did, that was so nonsensical. I'd like to know.

I do know, and told you, before I left, that the guild would fall apart without you.

Yes, I knew that quite well myself. Oh, but don't try to tell Scott that, even when a ton of non imperial members quit, who didn't even go to my guild, purely because they're fed up with his.

I'm sure that when you talked to me about leaving it probably influenced my quitting as well.

How so? what did I say that was so disturbing it made you quit?

I completely agree. To manage a guild you have to be committed and know what you're doing. Scott seems to be neither.

Once again, explain what I did that makes me an ass.
