Im getting more and more sick of this game with every publish and announcment. The game is crippled in so many areas but nothing is done about it. Instead the curtains are pulled and a white wash of *NEW* and *EXCITING EXPANSION* gets painted over the game.

Sure the devs cannot hope to sell expansion like number of copies by fixing SL, Ranger and Smugglers but they would definatly see a considerable sales uplift but most importantly an overall increase play retension figure. Its getting so hardnot to just leave whenProfessions, the GCW, Capital Ships and Story Content get passed over for Jedi.

Are you really sure that "Tons" have those alts now? I'd wager that we might even be seeing the results of the PDart fix, with many of those Ranger "pearl wh0re" alts being moved to other professions, in these stats. The only combat profession played LESS than Ranger is SL. Then there's a TON of crafting and entertainer stuff ahead of us, then the melee professions, then jedi, then ranged (at least in general terms).

I'm thinking that if this includes alts and anyone that grabs a novice box (so 00x0 Rangers for tracking, say)... that's even MORE an indication of how badly SL and Ranger need attention.

Y'know, if this chart is true, there AREN'T a ton of players with Ranger alts; I doubt they are filtering alts out of it. Still, since there's no mention of novice professions in that chart, it's perfectly possible that their alts have all have Hunting IV....

Oh dear

My main char is a DE and my alt is a ranger .... boy do SoE not like me!!

Have to say though I have recently returned to the game and am thoroughly enjoying playing as a ranger/CH. Ok, I know that ranger is borked but I feel proud I am sticking with the prof and the recent changes to CH means I can hunt again.

Now, all I need is a droideka schematic and both profs will be playable again ....

Awe, and I always wanted to be a Bantha Poodoo pickerupper, but I had to settle for Ranger when the former wasn't in the skill list. At this point they're pretty close anyway.
