Has anyone else been able to land traps successfully, but not get any xps for it at all? My template is very simple, but it's tough with very little combat skill boxes. I'm Master Doc, Ranger 0030, and Novice Pistoleer (this is my alt, not my main, which is why this template doesn't match my sig). I'm at CL 60, and I can land traps on 58-59 CL targets, but nothing else, and when I do manage to have a trap land, I don't even get a single xp for it. Am I doing something wrong here?

You only get trap XP for successful sticks after the creature is killed.

At CL60 with a trap mod of 50 you ought to be getting traps to stick, more often than not, but I can't see any reason for you to get no XP.

Having said that, CL69, trap mod 50, I was happily sticking traps on 70's last night and getting.... 450xp per trap. On Test, with a CL31 toon, trap mod 50, he was getting 600xp per trap off CL30's. (No 2xp there, btw) So, like, huh? What? (and that was with dbl XP running).
