Because ranger isn't the Krayt-Killing-Über-Template you think it is.
It is not here to support your Jedi-To-Be pearl needs.
Do what the rest of the crafters/Jedi do, start a Ranger alt. You'll be much happier with ranger on an alt than on your main character
Ranger skills should fill-in for jedi skills... yep, that's right make a /concealed master ranger not show up on the boards and make our modifiers good enough that when you have 100%skillpoints invested in Master Ranger and the leftovers in Jedi you're at-least as good as when you were a combat stacker and can't show up on the boards and we'll get all the attention we need 'cuz the jedi will be screaming for it, so it'll come, then when you drop Ranger for that next jedi skill (jedi cloak) and immediately go after Master Ranger on your alt.
... wait ... /zone

I consider Ranger to be the one and only true elite profession. In order to become the Ranger you must master the wilderness around you. You learn and grow like the redwood out in the forest becoming stronger and more knowledgeable in you environment. The ease at which you lay a path through the heart ofa jungle makesthecreatures born there envious.
Our stealth in movement is as quiet as a whisper in the wind. We can stand toe-to- toe against the giant beasts of the land and paint its claws pink before it even knows we are there.
You will find a Ranger camp high in the mountains where the air is thin and the weak of heart cant survive. You want to find a creature or that scum that stole your Jawabeer then call on us.
Sure the bounty hunters can find thier target but let them try without thier droids.
That is more than your shadow that trails behind you

Have to have terrain negotiation.
That way I can run up a hill faster than the new 7 person vehicle. Get to the top of the hill, set up a camp, send them tells asking when they are coming...
