A guildie and I went out last night and did a few faction missions. What I noticed with the npc missons is that when I am solo I get 2 or 3 targets. When we grouped and took missons we where get'n 4 to 6 targets per mission, so even tho we where spliting the xp we where geting the same xp per mission + the bonus, which I would not have gotten solo.


I don't thinkwewillget the same results with critter lair's, as you all know we get the 3 or 4 mobs at the start of mission, then the 2 respawns. Ihave been takeing some new guild members out hunting, showing them the ropes, but I don't rem. Do thenumber ofcritters increase permissionwith larger groups likeit does with npc missions ?

Looks like they are changing the group xp back to what it was pre publish 22. The communication was horrible on the xp change but I don't see how the current system makes sense. Should I get full xp for just hitting a creature one time while in a group? I hope the devise come up with some sort of new group xp system for the long term benefit of the game.

The number of creatures at the lair does increase. Although it doesn't always consistently increase (i.e. you sometimes end up with 2 targets and you sometimes end up with 10 per wave with the same group).

Hmm, this is interesting. I also remember being shocked by the amount of xp I was getting. However, I also remember being shocked by the vast increase in experience required to get boxes in ranger (1 million for master!!).


Lol 1 million xp is still easier than the 330(?) Apprentice Points (and especially the 640? you needed) you used to need!

You'd think so . I think scout xp has to be all (everyone who harvests gets full xp) or nothing (it's split between everyone, regardless of skills, as it is now).

I would prefer all!

I think the assumption is bigger group = faster kills = faster harvesting = more scout xp per hour. I don't think they are thinking about it as a pool that everyone draws from, the way it worked pre-CU.

Yup yup, after the Cu went live and before they introduced the exp multiplier I got 750K scout exp from a three hour guild hunt on Lok doing Gurk missions.
