Christmas... well I feel like christmas... a christmas where I get punished because I did something wrong It's just my opinion of course, but for me, Ranger will be removed from the game and put into scout. There will be a new profession instead.

Forget what I wrote here. I think I'm just under some kind of shock. This came so unexpected... I have to adjust first.

I can understand that. For all intents and purposes, Ranger IS going to become a completely new profession. Presuming that this actually goes forward (the cynic in me still says "Believe it when you see it"), I expect a lot of current Rangers doing some soul-searching to determine if this is really the way they want to go.

I'll admit to some uncertainty myself; I've had a pretty clear picture of who the character was, and this spins it around quite a bit. When and if the revamp hits live, I expect to spend a great deal of time seeing if the "new Ranger" fits me.

But we still have some time before we have to make any decisions.

BadChef summed up what us SLs went through on our forums, I personally took a break from the SL forums for a bit. The timeI spent trolling was replaced with grinding on TC
