I just thought of something. TC has been down a lot this week. What happens if the meet is this weekend or next, and TC isn't up? Should we have a backup plan to head over to Wanderhome?

say when. I'm working (as I usually do, as a bartender) thurs-sun, but I'm off work and ingame by midnight (USA eastern), so if there's any beer and brandy left, I'll be around to finish it.

TC is getting their regular hardware back (they were on 'mini-hardware' the last week or three), so once this downtime is cleared, it should be solid (and SHINY AND IMPROVED!).

I just got done watching that new DVD set that came out. The "Gospel" has changed a bit...

I hate to call a quorum, or force a decision, but...

it sounds like there are plenty of folks that could make it to a meet. the timing is likely to be a thorn, no matter what the choice.

my advice at this point?

get a leezard to make the call.

post a sticky... GREAT RANGER MEET. name a time and place. call on the scout correspondent for a favor (he seems to fear/respect a certain large atman behind the leezard skin) and post the same event in the scout forum.

post on swgtest.com, announcing the event. ask TC players to spread the word.

post on the correspondent forum. at the very least, I'd expect the CH, BioE, ranger (duh, he IS teh leezard), and scout correspondents to make at least an attempt to attend, and to perhaps spread the word on their respective forums.

name the time (TC seems to be as inoffensive a place as any suggested, for all parties).

if you can make it, RSVP. if you can't, post your condolences and support.

if a GREAT RANGER MEET isn't logistically possible, then make a RANGER DAY on TC with a rolling attendance. make use of RIN, and celebrate the day. or a weekend.

make the call, and see who comes. it's not a perfect solution, but we don't have perfect schedules to allow a structured one-hour event. if the call is sounded, I have every hope that rangers will flock to the party.

Well I don't think people need to RSVP And posting all those places is a little like spam. But if we DO decide to do it on TC then I think it would be cool if you could post it on swgtest.com as an event. It seems like there are a lot of Rangers over there who stick mainly to their own forum and don't wander this way too often, as well as a bunch of second character Rangers who would have a blast. I would do it... but that forum hates me worse than Lithium lol.

So whenever is a good time and place with our leader (and our Doc /crossfingers). No pressure. (taps foot) (hides from nerf bat)

I definitely have to clear some HD space for the screenshots. Yikes!

I have been told that the folks that help run TH on Naboo would be willing to help. BTW Paks, still need merchant training (capped last night, had to get a box so as not to loose exp).
