I fight against the status quo and the enslavement by the empire. The empire represents the interests of a few power-hungry people who will use fear, murder, slavery, torture and all things cruel and inhuman to impose its will upon people who in all honesty want to live a free and productive life. The Empire uses its overwhelming positon and power to impose its version of order upon the citizens of the galaxy. I view my fight against the empire as a fight against tyranny and oppression. I see my struggle to free all races from slavery as a fight for freedom, while those in power will view my actions as terrorism. I fight for all sentients to live their lives according to their beliefs, their customs without the imposition of a dictator and his sith lackey. I believe that all people regardless of species, should have a chance to live life on their own terms and to not live in fear of an oppressive government.

I feel that everyone should be allowed to live their lives freely as well, but there must be limits and boundries. If everyone lived as they felt was right, we'd have Naked Wookiees everywhere. Hence their enslavement. They refuse to wear clothing, and therefore, must be punished. Many people throughout the galaxy are deeply offended by the utter disregard of other people's feelings that the wookiees have. Many are deeply offended at the nakedness of said wookiees, and therefore, we, the empire, feel that we must make an example of these beings. While it is ok to live your life as you see fit, you must also consider the feelings of those living around you. If you are doing what you feel is right, but it is hurting others in the process, then it is not right.

As for the military precense everywhere, the Rebellion is what has caused that. If we did not have to deal with these political terrorists, we would not need to step up our military presence in the relatively peaceful worlds such as Naboo and Tatooine. The Rebelion has brought this oppression on the Empire, not the emporer. You are not helping your fellow beings by revolting against the established goverment. You are actually hurting them, by forcing us to tighten our grip.

And as far as Rangers go, Rangers stay out in the woods away from other people, and so their drunken debatchery is fine, as long as it stays away from the general public.

And I'm sure Lord Vader will take care of any hotpants clad imperial officers.

don't worry, my trusty silver revolver is much faster than a silly overside survival knife.

besides, i believe i've made you a set of clothing once, so why don't you wear that. or at least that armor with the funny horns on em.

You say that naked wookiees are offensive and therefore for the benefit of all others, they are enslaved to prevent offense. Is that not similar to juris ad extremum? The empire chooses to solve a particular problem (in their eyes) by enslavement and forced servitude. For what? Public Nudity? I have been to some ranger parties where there was chaos, drinking, nudity, punch-bowling, and other crimes against nature. Using Imperial Logic, then the rangers are also a threat to peace and order in the galaxy. Therefore, the next course of action would be to make rangers an illegal profession, enslave them and force them to live their lives in a cramped cell far from the reaches of any natural habitat. (Coronet would do nicely as a ranger prison)

Do not worry. Rangers are considered lower life forms by the powers that be, so unless there were wookies at these parties, no one will care what the rangers do.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.
