Holly Hyperdrive that's stupid to pay that much. But as someone pointed out, the docs are the ones out bidding each other.

The smart docs find a good reliable ranger or two, contract them to hunt for good spawns. Offer enough to make it their primary hunt, but not over priced. I know a doc that trades me his kick arse stim B's for avian at times. We both make out great.

ROFL I actually got sent a contract for 100 cpu for the Tat avian. I grudging accepted.

pffft, 100 cpu! what thats? see what INSANE amount ppl are paying for avian on Farstar.

400 cpu???? Oh. My. God. Can you imagine what buffs must cost if Docs have to pay this much?? I don't have much sympathy for doc complaints about pricing... but THIS I can understand. yikes!!

If I remember correctly, docs make about a 1000% profit on buffs using the stuff they pay 50-100cpu for, so don't pity them too much.

aren't some of the lizards considered avian... sorta like the voritors or whatnot on dant?

kind of... they have avian bone, but not avian meat (carnivore instead)... this kind of thing is actuallyfairly common, likelantern birdshave herbivore meat - not avian, despite being a "bird"...

I hope this hasn't spawned on Chimaera.

Why? because I have been getting 135cpu for Dath Avian meat and I can get 1.5k units per hour which way faster than harvesting from nunas.

I sold 12k to Arp (100cpu)and 4k-ish to Grimstine(75cpu). All in all I made about 1.7mil off those two and I only hunted for about 8 hours total. This is the 3rd day of the shift, so I could make a few more mil If I wanted to. Dunno if I want to though. I swear if I see another jackass ranger on Yavin... I've seen at least 3 rangers, but they're all the annoying bad rangers. The ones that don't realize if a creature's name is in the lair, then it's a mission. Or the ones that will gladly hop off a bike to pick off one of your targets because it's more than 10m away from you while you're killing other ones.

Also I noticed they took Hunt Master (and maybe TrapMaster)away. Bastards. Tracker is retarded.

The nice thing about nunas is that you can defeat them quickly and it is an abundantspecimen. The ugly is that is soooo boring ( if a sudden spawn of 12 nunas -two close lairs- don't spring and catch you without an armor on -as I usually hunt- )

By the way, in Corellia you can hunt also Giant/Carrions. You have to track them a bit as they are hard to see.

As Calc's doc friend, I just wanted to jump in and make it known that I would never ask him to get me any quantity of Tatooine avian meat. If the perfect spawn of avian were to happen there, I would first drop all of my weapon skills (I'm a doc/cm) and pick up Scout and Hunting I. Second, I would kill every dwarf nuna spawn on Tatooine for as long as the spawn lasted, relying on my poisons and a CDEFweaponto do it. Third, I would check myself into some type of clinic to cure the many mental and physical ailments that I would have just brought upon myself.Upon my release, I would begin making the best buffs I've ever seen.Of course, had the next Ranger get-together occured while there was good avian there, I would have been very happy to take the meat off everyone's hands .

As for pricing, Wanderhome is one of the cheapest servers, and my doc character is one of the wealthier ones in our circle of friends, but even so, I would never pay 400 cpu for anything. However, if that's the price that a resource sells for in an auction, then the market has spoken. The seller is certainly not to blame for the final price of an auction.

My character is still on Wanderhome, is the noob offers still good? Also is the shift of meat still good?

Let me know, i will go too.

Note: On Tempest, Tatooine insect meat is the craze.

Actually, the spawn has left. I had thought of using the harvesting amoeba to my advantage, but that would be evil.
