Thread: Tat Avian Meat (/cringe)
But to picture this tiny flightless bird that isn't as big as my foot (and I am a Bothan mind you), and 20 people standing around trying to pick it clean...
I can't help but crack up. It is a GU comic waiting to happen.

I actually have a NUNA strat. It keeps me from running around.

The surround you and you kill...harvest!!

400 cpu???? Oh. My. God. Can you imagine what buffs must cost if Docs have to pay this much?? I don't have much sympathy for doc complaints about pricing... but THIS I can understand. yikes!!
But the auction is setting the price (and therefore the Docs)and not the hunter.
You have descovered my Corellian Wooly Hide straight. I must now liquidate you. Sorry, business is ruthless

Inflation in this game is so rampant it's not funny. Buff paks sell normally for 20-25K. Each buff pak requires 24-28 units of avian meat. At 400 cpu that's a cost of 9600 - 11200 which still leaves 10400 - 13800 credits to try to find more "costs".
With the insane rates of inflation that plague this game a doc could offer 600 cpu for avian meat and still makeprofit.
Not to worry though. I'm sure some doc somewhere will find a way to raise prices to "account for demand" or to cover some unknown "cost" that may pop up to start charging 50K per buff pak.
My biggest problem is not docs offering insane amounts of money for meat. It's offering insane amounts of money for meat and cutting off the sale because youcan no longerafford to pay your suppliers after a certain point because you offered such an insanely high inflated rate to begin with.
I usually don't even bother with avian meat because it's so boring to hunt. I mainly hunt hides for armorsmiths. The CPU is lower but you get waaaay more hides than meat usually and armorsmiths can usually afford to buy what you give them. Man I love it when dant wooley is in season.

Which I remind them of. Constantly. Also remind them that if there were MORE of us then there would be MORE supply... and on... and on... and on... and after 10 minutes of arguing still get the response: "yeah, but that still doesn't give you the right to gouge!" Gaah! Okay, I'm over it. Hehe. I love docs really. They feed my brandy addiction.
P.S. Do nuna's make noise? I can't remember. I hunted vir vurs on rori once for 10k of meat. Yuck. I actually tracked them partly by sound. Random missions would spawn as I ran by and I'd hear the bunny cries and turn around. But after three days of listening to them as I killed them... I lost something. My heart pounds whenever I hear the noise... or even see someone's pet durni. I haven't been back to Rori since. If nunas make noise... I dunno man, I just dunno.

ROFL! *ducks down into her chair to avoid the funny looks from co-workers*
We had a 1000 OQ spawn of that on Naritus about a month ago. Thank the gods that it was on the tail end of a 900+ OQ spawn of avian on Yavin IV. Was hunting chokus until my eyes bled...but nunas are far worse. I'd wait and pray, Calc ![]()
