Nah, we are still on topic. If the topic is being grumpy that it.

1 out of 3 times I try to log in it reroutes me to the EverQuest site to stare at some blonde bimbo with huge... tracks of land. Ok, I like elves as well as the next person but I've developed a strong hatred for that particular... lady.
To add insult to injury it even says Welcome vorpaks at the top but when I make it back to the SWG site it has forgotten who I am and I have to to the whole thing over again.
Hmmm...blonde, yes, but bimbo? She looks like a magic user to me...that means high intelligence, right? Just because she is preternaturally well endowed in one department (well, ok, 2 departments if you are nitpicky), doesn't mean she's below average in others. She could be an outlier.

while we're being grumpy rangers...
why can't the freakin' devs figure out directions!!!!??
ordinarily this wouldn't bother me, but i've seen it several times now: "The Village is located in a desolate corner of Southwest Dathomir."... more recently in today's friday feature... ok, not a big deal if it's southeast... we get waypoints when we're allowed access, so no harm, no foul..
but i decide i want to start a quest, and the village elder tells me the NPC i need to talk to is along the inside of the west wall... i go, feverishly searching and talking to every NPC on the western half of the village... then it hits me... that elder, he's no ranger... he must have meant east wall...directly east of him, there's the NPC...
it's not a big deal... not even remotely... it only delayed me about 4 minutes... but... this is me being grumpy...

Heh, what was I supposed to reply to? I got distracted. Oh yeah.
Actually, to get really mad I have to wait until I try to respond constructively to someone (rare, but it does happen), and end up staring into dreamy blue eyes ... and it WONT LET ME USE THE BACK BUTTON! I HATE sites that do that! Instead I have to go to the freaking favorites menu and go BACK to SWG and navigate BACK to the post and... okay, deep breath.

LOL. Much better.

I'd say this proves that there are a lot more Ranger Devs than we give them credit for.

I don't trust no stinkin' elder. I use my super da duper /areatrack. Amongst the churned mud created by several hundred players and vehicles I'm still able to pick out the names and current location of the village NPC's by an imprint in the ground.

Me and a good going dose of disease were heading to the Dathomir shuttle last night when I spotted a squidfaced guy in a bright red chef's hat, yellow yacket and blue pants. He had the title "Accountant" up and I ended up singing...
"Oh to Charter and Accountant
and sail the wide accountancy"...
It's times like that y'just know you need to get out more. 'course, tell young folk that these days...
