Wow, heh... That reminds me of tracking down a CSR nearly a year ago myself. When I did, though, and messaged him, he said that it was possible to disable the ability of areatrack to see them, but he didn't want to. Apparantly, you can't disable it like he said.

But, let's not hope we actually get stealth. Hell, how long ago did TH promice us hunting blinds and claw traps/trip wires?

hehe, theres no point denying it

The secret is out now and looks like with some work could become a very valuable ranger tool that would effect pvp, give us a clear gcw role and enhance our profession to a great degree.

I think I understand now why they wanted folks to think is was not possible, but you can't fool this codgered old programmer . They are trying to catch hacks and exploits. If they think that no one can see them in the act they can end up ID'ed faster. Probably best not to make too much of a fuss...

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

I can see it now, a post in the ranger forum from some guy who wants hire a ranger to be a lookout for CSRs while he exploits. A new monkey-making opportunity for less-than-moral rangers...

I wonder if the CSR could be /target'ed. I would doubt it.
