Thread: Outdoorsman proposal or not?
A...because I think it's the only way we will see the light of day anytime soon.
B...because I am all for modifying things to better suit what the community wants.
C...Times change and so does the community. It may be time for a new idea on where the community wants the Ranger to go.
So in essence, I vote for all three, but the one that the devs will probably accept?....A.
To change the focus of the Ranger to suit a more military type feel would require a lot of work on their parts and an even longer wait for the Ranger to get a revamp. I guess what the question is...do we want it done right, or do we want it done now?
BUT, the devs have said we are creature hunters.

Which is precisely why we should stick with the proposal right? If I remember correctly, it greatly supported the idea of us being creature hunters. So just stick with what is there and modify it if need be.

Again I ask...what is the impetus for scrapping this idea.

I started it to get a feel for how Rangers feel about the idea. I had it pointed out that not everyone initially liked the idea of the outdoorsman. And with the new group of Rangers and the old ones who left, the demographics are not quite the same as they were when the proposal was made. As you can see a (vast) majority of people think we need to give it a look-over. Plus this gives us a debatable topic.

Nope. This started as an emotional topic for me (can't remember who, but as I said, I was told in another thread that not everyone liked the Outdoorsman). I still like it, I still endorse it, and I would like to make a few additions to it. I don't even want to change it, just add a few pieces, but I want to make sure those changes are necessary/make sense before I suggest them.
