You lost me. What the hell does that mean?

Would be:

Health 400
Strength 400
Constitution 400

Action 400
Quickness 400
Stamina 400

Mind 1100
Focus 1000
Willpower 800

Although I think you have an extra 100 points missing there (probably in focus). It's a setup that only humans can use and some people consider an exploit (as it gives a huge advantage to the mind stats mainly due to something that is almost certainly a bug). But it works extremely nicely.

If you know an armorsmith you should be able to get a custom set of Mabari or Ubese with NS LAYERS and or Shards. I had a set of Mabari for hunting unbuffed that was 9/2/4 HAM total. The resists were not uber but it took the edge off of many attacks and let me run around very freely with no buff and just fodd.

Why didnt i think of this. I do this with my crafter who is an AS/WS. So far i had him make a low HAM vibroblade for my unbuffed fighting. And when im walking my crafter to his harvesters i put on a set of mabari armor since it takes off half of the damage.

Excuse me while i go bang my head for not putting two and two together on this. Plus i can make it ranger colors.

Ranger really helps in the unbuffed thing. Since I dropped it, it's way harder to do now -- about the only thing I do better is heal myself really fast. In fact, with Ranger it was too much of a hassle to buff and go out when I wouldn't be spotted by any critter anyway.

I still got my /concealshot and everything, but I miss me camo and traps.

So ya'll have fun. When you see me running like a sissy from 10 poisoned rancors, remember: I used to be one of you!!

Thats another thing I like about fighting unbuffed is that you learn the value of traps real quick

Its also a buffed template. Which is why my stats are far more spread out favoring substats but not to heavily. Thats one of the reasons i can fight unbuffed where a lot of people cant.

Now to get them to fix the capped stats on garrmorl and accargm to make them more effective

Quite right - it is a buffed template. PvP almost requires the stats to be set in this fashion at the moment - which I know... rangers aren't a combat profession, but occasionally me and my guild get asked to come help attack or raid somewhere. With good equipment though you can fight very effectively unbuffed in this format.

Health and Action are handled by stims at novice medic, and your mind can be handled by brandy if you need to, but often it's not required.

A good T-21 made for low HAM or a looted dxr 6bhelps as well. 6 strafe2's before out ofHAM is enough to drop most things you'll encounter in the wild.

Well tonight I, well my master AS alt, made a set of low HAM mabari. And Im going to do some testing with it to see if it really does make a difference. The chest piece is only 50/9/6 in its ham cost. The boost and gloves are 12/10/6 or something low like that. The helmet is 47 to mind which for a helm of any type is low. I used krayt armor segments for it. And i got 14% kinectic out of the deal. Seems a good trade off versus unarmored

This sounds good, what would you prescribe for a Wookiee version?

Start to play around with some NS layers and Shards if you can and you can continue to push those numbers lower. Then hope for some encumberance slices. It makes wonderful hunting armor with no doc buffs needed.

I wouldnt let me use NS Layers/segments in the mabari. And I am going to give it to my smuggler for a little HAM slice. Im also using one component of the segment with 287 Mall. If i can find better ditanium steel i can lower that as well.

BTW since im also a master artisan with a Master BE wife. Im thinking of using exo-protien wafers over synthsteak since the filling is only 5. It only lowers damage 20% for 20 attacks if i remember right. But its something you can use almost constant instead of syntsteak

I always get confused but for mabari it is shards you need to use not the layers. When you make your segs use shards then spend most of your points in HAM reduction.

Thats how I got the HAM down actually to the low point I did was by putting as many points as possible into HAM. At the same it also increased durability. So i have a 13k HAM 50/9/6 jacket
