hehe, I know but... Is it a bugor is it intended?

If it's a bug, we'll have the same problem when it will get fixed.

I hope it's intended.

But it's probably bugged .

But heck, if I can mask my scent, walk up to a Rancor and lick it, I should be able to mask my spat too!

In the case that it is, mounts will really only be good for use on starter level planets.

With you as our correspondent we're in good hands. Just hope the developer's corpses aren't bugged and give us only 1 unit!

Or worse -- they lack a resource type and prevent anyone else in the group from harvesting.

But was that because a Resource Shift, or simply because the animal was indeed skinny?

I don't have a mount quiet yet but couldn't you conseal your mount and yourself before you head out? If you can't at the very least you should be able to do that. If they are insisting on maintaining realism that would certainly be logical.

Try this to speed up the mask scent process.

Make a macro

Have your pet targetted.

/dismount

/pause 1

/maskscent

/pause 1

/mount

I found i needed to put the pauses in to make it work. Ohh if anyone knows how to add an autotarget your pet command into your macro, let me know I'd appreciate it.

i think rangers should be able to maskscent on mounts, but for now it seems the dev's just wanted to throw these mounts out plain, then add things later once they got the bugs worked out.

i got my self a giant spat(for free ) the 2nd day mounts were out. i just use a macro maskscent, and dismount when i get in combat can i can run faster that way. I do think we should be able to conceal and maskscent our pets, but areatracka nd track u should dismount for. think of aragorn in LotR, he tracks by using the ground, and its hard to see the ground when ur on a mount...

Although i would love to track while mounted, I agree with Ryehal... the ground is our main source of info for tracking...it would be too easy to track while mounted.
