Thread: One Sentence solution for Rangers?

I realy think a sentence like this will be ignored by TH as it lists several things that would make things better. He asks for one sentence, one item, speciffic. I realy think if we do the one voice thing we need to decide on what one shining thing, if they add it right now, would make combat better for us.
So what do we want most out of all these things; greater DPS as rangers, better creature to hit bonus, defense against creature attacks (creature toughness), resistance to creature poisons/disease (or poisons/disease in general to make it PvP applicable), or something else I am forgetting.
My vote is for greater damage per shot as rangers against creatures.
oh i like /hug

Rangersdesire to become more thanskill pointdeficient "super-scouts";we are particularly interested in having increased defence and offence combat capabilities against creatures, wild or player-controlled, giving us a role in both PvE and PvP;this can be accomplished within the current state ofcombat by using existingcode such ascreature to-hit, damage stat mods, & toughness; this would allow us to be the greathunters we were meant to beandnot force us to drop the profession welove tocompete withelite combat profession stackers with only novice scout.
After a tough internal debate and the great feedback from the community I've decided to post what I have above. To me the 3 bold points are the most important things ATM. Remember that a damage stat mod would also increase our DPS without a new special.
On to my point... ifeveryone used thebeginning and end while replacing the center part with what you believe the important issue is, we will still bring a united front while at the same time getting more ideas out there
- Creature to-hit mod
- Creature damage mod
- Creature toughness
Example:
"Rangers would like to see their combat effeciency vs. creature increased with creature-cetric skill mods and defenses so a Master Ranger/Master Elite profession is a more effective hunter then a Novice Scout/Master Combat Stacker"
