I cant say anything that hasnt been said better. Lets see some changes!

I'm only taking the Frontiering portion of Ranger to get the cool camps, the rest is too redudant to Scout and with the super low limit on skill points I don't need more traps that can't be used on NPCs or Players or Player Pets, I don't need to crawl fast, or harvest more bone each time. Ranger needs some big improvements. Nice Thread tho.

Another thing, shouldn't a ranger be able to find game? If I am in a big hunting party and everybody is just wandering around aimlessly looking for stuff to kill, shouldn't the ranger have some ability to 'survey' for creatures. Maybe a skill you could use that would place a waypoint where certain creatures are.

Yeah, there's been several times where I had to wander all over to find a nice spot to hunt. It would rock if we could pull up a tracking "list" and lead people right to some prime spots!

Hello Guys,

I'm new here on this forum, and i just finish to read all post ! Im TKA/Scout/Ranger, Near Master on TKA(Meditation need only) , Master Scout and near Master Ranger, just need frontenier 2,3,4. So All post i read are very well, but the problem is WHO READ US. Maybe onlyUS ranger...read the post, but what i can say the XionLion's post was realy cool and explain exactly howwe feel every one of us about Ranger.

The question... I don't khow if Dev SWG read our post, but at my eye i should say NO, because who care about ranger... XionLion's post should send directly to Dev SWG to how we feel.

BTW I will be master Teras soon and making camp site are so borring, i dont khow how many time we will wait untill they (Dev SWG) care about Ranger, because i think we are far in there priority, so i don't khow if i will stay ranger because that.

So i think i will stay ranger for maybe 1 or 2 more week's after that maybe i will try something else.

Finaly PLEASE DEV SWG READ THIS...

You have no idea how steamed I am right now after reading the SCOUT board...

SOE if you read this.... you better darn well draw a clear line in the sand between Scouts and Rangers.

Its bad enough that they have their own correspondent who has their own dev working on fixes to the Scouting line that are going to complete MUCK WITH US...(go read their threads on Maskscent and you'll realize we have two completely different sets of ideas going to help fix the same line)

Or better yet... why don't you CHECK WITH THE RANGERS before you start MUCKING around with Scout Fixes...

Or is it that because Rangers are really just SCOUTS... maybe we should just close this Board... move Mineras over to the Scout Forum and we can all just start talking about how we want to fix /maskscent /harvesting and the like... because its USELESS to have two seperate and completely different camps trying to give you feedback from two seperate correspondents....

What a waste of effort its going to seem when we read the patch notes and see... "due to popular demand, we've changed /maskscent to have an effective range of only 5 meters" all because the dudes down in the Scout forum thought thats the way it should work.

Read this board and realize the ONLY reason we're even hanging on to the 63 points is because we have some glimmer of HOPE that it MIGHT turn into a decent class someday... but I'm starting to think... SOE doesn't give a rats ass about Rangers... they're just going to fix Scout and then call it all gooooooooooood.

If that is what happens... congratulations... you are truly apathetic.
