I whacked some violent krabhu for no harvest, tapped the lair, and was able to harvest the subsequent waves of defenders. I was wondering if this is some kind of new thing, all NPCs drop something, so now some creatures drop nothing? I guess I need to be more careful in placing my shots.
this message is very similar to the message i remember getting when trying to sample a resourcethat is shifting as an artisan, The couple of times i've gotten this message, the resource has indeed shifted next time I come back.
Really annoying though, was hunting on yavin the other day(last day of week long trek out there), killing a lair of mamiens, when i got that message about halfway through the lair

There's times I swear the corpses vanish quicker than normal.

this was happening to me with the enraged rancors as well a few weeks ago, charge into a spawn of 5-6, kill one or 2 and find myself alone....

But it seems to be limited to types doesnt it? Like if the lairs all "Killer Giant Biznatches" the normal baznitch'es not disappear only the giants. Things like that?

I know you get it with a full inventory. But I was also getting that message without a full inventory....when it happens tho Ido not loot segments or bile. There is actually a few hundred units of organics on the corpse after I have harvested it....like an added bonus. Like I said I have been having this happen for a while now. When i get the message where it says i stuff was left on the corpse I just loot it again and it grabs the stuff that was left on the body.

Eclipse, Yavin... Just logged off a couple minutes ago to hunt up this thread. Had Skreegs, Snakes and Grackles giving and not giving resources. I'd harvested Kliks with no trouble, then killed snakes and found no hide. Meat came off fine. But no hide. Bats wouldn't give me any hide, but a guildie was getting it only an hour or two earlier.
It was all the "creature has no intact harvestable resources" message.

Hey Calc, you never posted here to let us know what YOU noticed about harvesting lately. Were the issuses you noticed resolved?

The yields went way down over a large areaI harvest but there were still some spots within that had high yields.
Maybe they made the overall yields go down but I know there are still some spots that have 95% of the max yield.

What I hjave noticed is a lot of looted resources (not always able to be blamed on full inventories) and I have had a lot of problems with not getting harvesting rights despite being the only being in the area. It seems to have died down a bit from when I first posted this, but I am going to continue monitoring my harvesting, and this thread.

Well Calc you have 3 more until the magic 5000 when your title will go from "Ranger Correspondent" to "Ranger Correspondent". Im pushing for you to hit it soon.

The only thing I have noticed is that when the stats on a creature resource change to really great stats, suddenly the spawn rate decreases - both in the number of nests found and the amount of creatures that spawn from the nest decreases too.
