My problem is more annoying than anything else. When milking pikets they walk briefly and even though they're right next to me I get a message "The creature has moved too far away for you to continue milking." Something like that. Then the creature magically "warps" like 20 meters away. Or if they're laying down they will "slide" like 10-20 meters away. I have to run up and continue milking to finish up. This might happen like 2 or 3 more times on the same piket. Rather frustrating.
I have gotten this message also...and the same type or message when attacking a critter not more the 5 meters away from me.,......

Generally finding my harvests are lower than normal, that the everpresent lag has made it nigh on impossible to get the radial up so I can now type /harve hide pretty fast, that I can't harvest if I've got a 'state' on and in a couple of instances have just not got a harvest off a critter in any shape or form.
Oh, more loot tho. Weird cr*p too. I swear I got a sweater off some wryx. Leastwise it wasn't in my bag before i started hitting them, and it was the next time I checked....
That apart, nope. Enlighten us, Your Chocolatey Bunniness...

The only thing I have noticed lately is that certain areas of a planet yield different harvest rates.
I was under the impression that if I was killing something that was fat and healthy that everything else that dropped the same resource was ALSO fat and healthy.

I was just out hunting rancors a few hours ago and I didn't notice anything different or any bugs as far as harvesting.....as for looting I get a message saying 1 or more items was left on the creature then I loot it again and I loot organics off the corpse. But thats not really new....

Really haven't been paying THAT much attention recently. I'll take a look at what I can tomorrow when I'm out on Yavin hunting Black Sun.

I actually came to the Ranger board to see if I could find out what the heck was wrong.
The other night, I was harvesting nuna's on Naboo (150 cpu avian meat) and getting about 28 units. Seems about
right for master ranger.
The next day, and every since, 6 units. (Isn't that about what a novice scout can harvest??)
I've noticed the same reduction harvesting everything else as well.
NOT HAPPY. I've wanted to go back to ranger for ages and ages, finally got it a week or so ago, and now this?

Could this be what you're talking about Calc?

Actually thats the fact that where you kill the creature determines the health. Its no different then surveying minerals or inorganics. We learned this because of a jedi tool that was removed.

Really?
I must have missed thatdiscussion.
I can say that this was over a 4km space with the various spawns though.
In the past I'd witnessed all sorts of differences over the course of a lair also.

Yeah you could have used the tool to see where the higher percentages just like a survey tool.
