Owen: Backwards compatability. Overheard a bit in TC chatter last night. Put them in your rucksack, then transfer back to inventory. From what people were saying that should do the trick. (Quick caveat: BUT, from what I read that Seani had said that was the way to get current resources to flip. Others seemed to have had older stuff do it too. /shrug. I've not been on TC since as am still patching. /mutter /curse /rude )
Backwards compatability isn't quite like that - the trick is to take advantage of the auto-stack feature. If you put into one location (be it inventory, backpack, floor) and there is already the same name resource (less than 100k stack) then it will merge in and take whatever the first resource graphic was. so - if you have old graphic hide in your inventory and harvest some more - it will stack and you have the old graphic
The trick is as follows:
Take old graphic hide and put it in backpack
Harvest new graphic hide.
Move old graphic hide from backpack into inventory. It will then auto-stack and the whole stack will have the new graphics.
I've managed to put together a basic landscape painting with the new hides (after a nice sweep of all planets looking for hide) - you can see it in the thread linked above.

From your launchpad click on the Test Center button in the lower right corner and it will lead you through the installation process I believe. However, this will be a really long patch (basically downloading the whole game). Another way is copy your existing StarWarsGalaxies folder and rename the copy StarWarsGalaxiesTestCenter and then click on the Test Center button in your launchpad. The patching should be smaller then.
Edit: Arrrrgggg.... wookiee fingers... type too slow...

Paks.. I believe it autmatically copies your files over now. I have a from launch copy of swg and after downloading the patches to my live version on my new pc, i though id have to spend another day downloading the patches for tc.
However i never had to, i clicked the TC button on the launchpad and i only had to download one small patch (took about 2 minutes). I never copied any files over or anything manually, i believe it copies your live stuff over now. Could be wrong but it only took me 2 minutes to patch up and my copy is from launch.

Now we just have to hope for a vertical rotate so we can hang them on the walls.

So who's ready for their Kreetle Skin Rug???
I want to mount mine as a flag off the back of my speeder. The logic being that it'll really give the little buggers something to get mad about

I want to wear it as a Jacket, and become the new Overkreetle. I could then command the Kreetles to do my bidding. (in other words, make them collect good spawns of Tat Avian meat so i don't have to)
