If you have a stack of one resource on the floor and drop another stack of the same resource, the two will automatically combine into one stack. So you wouldn't be able to split a resource up into like 5 stacks of one unit each and then drop them because they would automatically combine into one stack of 5 units. This works for every resource I think.

They're great!
It's about time we had different graphical representations for different resources.
(I think this is the first thing I've seen out of the test center that I actually think was a good idea!).

JBMat: Knots/ewoks. I'll send you the bill for a new keyboard. Mr Tea, meet Mr Keys. Funniest image I've had in ages.
Owen: Backwards compatability. Overheard a bit in TC chatter last night. Put them in your rucksack, then transfer back to inventory. From what people were saying that should do the trick. (Quick caveat: BUT, from what I read that Seani had said that was the way to get current resources to flip. Others seemed to have had older stuff do it too. /shrug. I've not been on TC since as am still patching. /mutter /curse /rude )

that sucks
Its not too bad. If you want a bunch of leathery hide rugs just go on a quick sampling trip and get a unit of leathery from each different planet. I probably have 17 different types of leathery just sitting in my resource shack, and a few diff types in my back pack as well.
Right now I have one unit of the best avian I've ever harvested on display in my house. When they redo the meat graphics this will look even better!

Paks they arnt backwards compatible. What i mean is i have a house full of hides on tc and none have been converted to the new art, they are still containers.

Hmmm... thats not necessarily a bad thing - I know several Homeshow winners who have decorated their houses using the resource boxes. This way they don't suddenly have a hige rug floating in their stove or something. Who knows? They may become collectors items.

Yeah just saying if you plan on relying on your stocks to get multiple leather hide stacks to place in your rooms, they will still be containers.
Im prety glad hehe, my shop was designed around having containers

Just great, one more thing for this Rodian pack-rat to collect.
