Heh, I didn't even bother with the 30k stacks. I have plenty of money. I'm a ranger. What do I need a few more million credits for? I opted for an x-wing model instead.

I honestly think that people are just making a mountain out of a mole hill here.
30k is NOT alot of resources..even if it is the best...any crafter will tell you that to do a productive factory run of something, you will need way more than 30k of resources..

After all the panic I had... I got 3 mails from my chefs/docs/BE's today with requests for harvests.

Snagged the 30K for my weaponsmith of the guild. He's making a run of very nice Scout blasters specifically for the guildmembers.
Heck, maybe everyone wants to have only uber stuff, but damn it...having a range of scout blasters (lowest HAM's ever made, with damn good damage) with the title of "Hakai's Kreetle Killer" is just darn hootin for me.

my problem with this is the avian meat. 30k of the best avian ever is alot. 30k of the best copper ever isn't crap. Yes there are guys out there buying all of the 30k deeds they can but what doc in his right mind would seel off a free 30k stack of the best avian meat ever and that's what is going to hurt us. I am on shadowfire and we haven't had a really good avian spawn for a while now and it's about time for a new one. What's gonna happen when that spawn hits? The docs will be offering crap for money that's what. I don't about the rest of you but for the most part the only meat i sell is the avian ( everything else i harvest goes to my guild mates that need it including half of the avian i harvest). Now if i want to make any money off of it i am going to sit on it for a few months and hope that the price will eventually go back up.

It may hurt a little during the initial influx of rewards, but the trickle of new people getting the reward afterwards will not hurt. Yeah, docs can get 30k of the best avian meat, but its a finite supply that is gone when its used up. Then they will be back. I wouldn't sweat this.

It's not going to hurt that much. It will for a little while, but those 30k stacks will run out and people will buy the stuff. Also It's only one resource and most people need at least 3-4 resources for the best stuff.
Besides we shouldn't get worked up over this stepping on our toes. Ranger has it REALLY good right now, a lot better than a lot of professions this is helping. It seems silly to get worked up over this when there are professions out there that are being killed by stuff the Devs are doing (see the architect forums for proof).
