I'm a reb, and not an imperial. But I AM an armorsmith. This is something else I'd like to see too..
Of course what I'd also like to see is faction specific armor craftable to the same stats as composite. That way you have imps running around in imp armor and rebs running around in reb armor when PvPing beyond those brave and few souls who do so.

Well... According to this we can expect profession specific certs for more than just mandalorian armor
.And the very same document also mentions 4 new sets of factional armor for players, not many guesses needed that the scout trooper armor is one of those.

.Ofc not exactly canon but still, some infos grabbed about scout troopers from the d20-game (things I somehow can relate to skills for rangers and scouts of swg in bold
):Skills: Climb +2, Hide +4, Intimidate +3, Jump +0, Listen +2, Knowledge (politics) +2, Move Silently +4, Pilot +5, Profession (stormtrooper) +3, Ride +6, Search +1, Survival +1, Spot +1
Feats: Armor Proficiencies (light, medium, powered), Track, Weapon Group Proficiencies (blaster pistols, blaster rifles, simple weapons.)
Yes I know this is far fetched but I want that armor hehe (and if we do get prof specific certs for armor and new faction armor, which professions but the scout based ones should get certed for scout trooper armor

no problem , thats more the sort of reply I was lookin for rather than the stick I received , sorry to anyone who dint like the way I posted the original idea , dint mean to be pushy or anything , jus in my opinionI thought it was a relevant uniform for ascout oriented proff , jus wanted tosee what other peeps thought , I jus think that sometimes you get an idea an if you dont get it down or out on a board or a bitof paper then you lose it , that was what I did here , I thought , whoa , cool idea , slap,it on the board an see what people think , i disagree that you should only be puttin thoroughly thought thru ideas down to chew over , surely bare butt nekkid fresh ideas should be able to be plonked on here aswell to chew the fat over , I mean fair enough if you want things put on here in a certainway then ok , like I said , dint mean to step on toes an break etiquette............... im workin really hard to get the m/ranger tag , I dont get a lot of time to play but I thought this was the coolest proff to do ,an I think the community on here an the game is rock on ...........any way , im draggin on ,an thanks for the replies an interst this has generated so far( I still want a set of this armor tho)

Uh, How in the world do Rangers Get Mando Armor??? Ranger isn't a combat class..... And I know that getting mando armor is like one of the hardest things to do..... Someone please fill me in....(without ripping my head off if you don't mind )

My guess is ranger, commando, BH, and Sqaudleader are the profs that are in that elite sqaud that uses the armor. It would make since that a small strike force would be made up or those 4 professions, toss in combat medic to the sqaudleader/combat medic and that is one bad ass team.. well at least IMO
