A friend showed me a new pistol yesterday that proved that DPS doesn't mean much.
It was some weird gun he got off the Avatar space station. looks like a satelite dish mounted on end of the gun barrel. it has a higher estimated DPS for me, as well as higher Base DPS, but it is .5 seconds slower than mine, and both min and max damages are only 5 points higher than mine. so that kind of proved that DPS isn't that big of a deal.

Have you seen the trandoshan supressor in action? that gun looks awesome. it has 2 tiny barrels on it, and shoots out 2 steady streams of electricity, as well as a sprayed electrical burst around the target.

The Quicktrigger Countermand is a loot from Cyrans the Unfeeling in the Dead Forest, I don't think its the same one he got from the Avatar, though it probably uses the same art as many weapons do now.
I don't like the Trandoshan Suppressor's electricity effect, takes away the uniqueness of the Lightning Beam Cannon (of course, I'm a Commando, so I'm biased)

Have you done the hunting bets in Etyyy? One of the rewards is a quite nice SL pistol that you might be able to use. Same cert as the flare pistol but it had higher DPS than my Intimidator (and much lower special ability cost). I forget the exact cert on it, though.

by what i understand you have to finish the Ryatt Trail and the rodian hunting grounds (includeing the glade) after that you talk to a wookie npc in the main city and kill some bolotaurs and go back to him to get the head

hell yah B'en...
the trando supressor... (i wouldnt mind supressing some trandos i know) has super cool effects. Although i do get nervous when Oreet is behind me shooting, seeing bursts of electricity surround me is a bit unnerving.

If you guys ever want company let me know. I've been busy lately hunting Necrosis, doing other Kashyyyk quests with the guildand making food and stuff for the guild with my limited play time I have now, but I'd love to group up with you guys sometime if I can.

Not to get off topic here, but is there a Trophy list out there of what animals give what nowadays? I've been away too long.. there were only like 2 back then, I assume there are many trophies now? I'd like to go out hunting once I get back online to gather up some skulls, heh.
Preciate the help if ya got it. Look forward to spotting these new three alongside the others.

I think this is just wishful thinking - I read it too somewhere. I've done the glade/hunting grounds and trail and the 'Master Hunter' in Kachiro does not offer me anything apart from the imformation he normally does.
