Mmmmm yes, and no.

Do Chef's get a forage ability? Really, I don't know if they do or not. If they had a targetable/stackable forage, then yes, it would definetly be encroaching on their balliwick, and that's not cool at all.

But if they don't, I think we could present this as an addon to our present scout/ranger harvest abilities.

Think of it in comparison to that. We can harvest x units of hide from a torton, how about being able to forage x units of y forageable, which could then also be sold to Chef's/whoever as an ingredient to one of their food buffs?

Like 10 unit max of those onions? Not all in one sitting, I'd have to forage at least 10 times to get those 10 onions, but once I had10 (stackable or not), those onions would be unavailable to me for a reasonable time limit, say an hour or two, REGARDLESS of where I went (not too realistic, but it would create one of those artificial sinks that all skills seem to require :smileywink.

A stackable forage would definetly be the priority in my book as well, but having a targetable forage would be the next runner up on my "list of stuff that would be cool to have".

But anyone heals when sitting in a camp for long enough. That activityis something Rangers who wish to master the prof need to spend an awful lot of time doing. Maybe give us a slight bonus on the effect as opposed to other visitors in the camp, but nothing else is needed really... As you say, "Rangers should have some healing, even if it doesnt do much and takes a reallylong time to fully heal." That's what camps do, and nobody spends more time sitting in a camp than a Ranger, so we already have the thing you propose.

"Spend the 15 pts, 18 actually if you want stim Bs. Best investment in the game."

My friends and I use advanced stim b's at novice medic. The medical use is experimented down.

We could get an emergency heal... we could use it once every hour or so...
