I am on Lowca and have been aiming for Master Ranger ever since launch (I'm not a powergamer, still making my way there). But I was and am in love with the ranger profession before and since the latest announcements.

I am even more thrilled than ever about the potential our profession holds now, but yes, I do believe there will be a flood of rangers, at least dabblers.

I have noticed an increase in the number of Novice Rangers on Lowca since the announcements, and I don't *think* it's my imagination but who knows? I'll keep watching.

I am happy that our profession will attract alot more attention now, I just hope they make the Master Ranger really stand out above the crowd of dabblers.

Wanna talk about no Rangers. I am on Rori, and I haven't seen any master Rangers there. I am still working my way up the tree. I can see that I will have to finance my training if I am the only one on the planet.

Heh, I have paid for almost all of my skills since release ... Master Scout, Master Marksman, Master Ranger, Intermediate Carbinier ...

JUST Master Ranger cost me 135,000cr ... I've probably spent at LEAST 180,000cr on training.

There are still not many rangers on gorath. although i have noticed a few more novice scouts.

might be because everyone is camping on theed's front lawn.

I had to PAY for all my Ranger levels. However the MUCHO training points I get will let me auto master a few of the other prof's I'm working on. Some poor slobs are trying to PAYto train others, in order to get training exp.

The reason for the increase is the Explore missions. They are hoping the /find [creature] will happen such that these will be fast cash makerslike the old destroy missions were. Sense most took Scoutthey are using the few points they have left in as much Ranger as they can get, in hopes that the /find [creature] will be in reach.

Devs will have to be careful about how that is implimented...

fyi: still not that many on Eclipse (or just maybe Corellia, I pretty much just hunt there), I have seen one other Master Ranger and a Novice... Most of the training I have been getting came from scouts on the way up and other profs. It seems about 50/50 for Ranger/Other training requests.

There really has been a clear increase in the Ahazi Ranger population. I have been aiming at Ranger since beta 3 but after Holo's comments everyone I see has Nov Ranger above their head. Oh well such is life. I should have Master Ranger by next week so Im not sweating it.

DAMMIT!!!!! you guys got me all excited and i spent about 45 minutes looking for this fable post just to look at when it was posted and go *sigh* well their goes that dream, I thought Rangers where finally up on the chping block too
