Dave...on the stims, I have no idea. I picture stim A's going public.

For the rest, I agree that we will almost certinly have to ask for a SP adjustment somewhere. I dread that, but it seems to be the way things will go. It looks like we will know soon.

In that case, I hope we do get a skill point reduction so I can still go novice medic. Stim-A's just don't cut it (wish they did, then I could make my own rather than buying Stim-B's).

I didn't use buffs or uber armour, so why did the combat revamp have to spoil my game?

Thing is, for the next few hours, we don't know if they'll be Stim-A strength, or Stim-B strength but you have to be out of combat and sitting (or doing a pirouette, handstand or some other gesture) to use them as they heal you over n seconds. Till we know more we can't make any decisions on what skills to drop, change, substitute or whatever.

Okies, and for the folk who are suggesting that we ought to get a bit more 'militant' in arguing for a change for Rangers. I don't think anyone truly believes we'll 'never' get a revamp and I fully accept that 'later' is too vague a response to be worth the pels it takes up BUT for the next month AT LEAST things are going to change so much in terms of game play, abilities, etc that the entire Ranger Revamp question almost ahs to be put on hild until we know what's going to be broke/fixed/shifted about in CURB.

Once CURB is out of the way, or once we can identify specific changes that need to be made under the new system, then that's the time to start making it clear what changes we NEED, what ones we'd like and what ones would be just kinda 'cool'.

Then, once we can see what the Dev's actually intend doing, we get to react appropriately. The BIG danger is that a vocal protest could result in a 'quick fix, get them off our backs' revamp that leaves us no better off or in a worse position.

i dunno, maybe im satisfied with less than most... but i thought the fact that we got a huge harvest bonus for Masters, and while grouped is a first positive step. I mean, I can harvest 950 units off of an Ancient Bull Rancor... Makes me smile.
