I get warped out of range when prone and I always get the slow runspeed after 'takecover' too.

I never had these problems before I became Novice Ranger...The warp out of range bug really destroys the Rifleman feeling.

Heh, find cover on Tantooine! Same here, just not using take cover anymore.... Maybe it is some freaky link for us since we have the crawling speeds enhanced with Ranger?

For those of you who fight the big critters, like I do, with the dots and warning, kiting them as it were, does taking cover help you doing that? I mean does it keep you hidden longer? Just wondering if it's worth putting up with the bug.
