But I'm not willing to bet three more months on it.

I made that statement 10/07. Two months have passed and Ranger hasn't improved an iota. I'm glad I had the sense to bail when I did. You guys deserve medals for your legendary patience.

I'm guessing it will be February before you have something meaningful (balanced, debugged and working) to talk about, let alone cheer.

To be honest, it's not too hard to be patient with a class that you like. If you (and I do mean you) are not satisfied, fine, you did the right thing and moved on. And maybe the class will be more to your liking in the future, maybe not, maybe never.

But as you can see, those of us who are still enjoying being a Ranger (and even some who are aren't) are still notat aloss for something to talk about, and yes, sometimes even cheer about.

Nice to hear from you again Jmatt.

Okay, I bailed on Ranger back in early October. I checked back in during December and still nothing had changed. Here it isfour months later and I canceled my SWG account last week (I haven't played since mid-February though).

I'm just wondering if anything has really changed for Rangers since I gave it up six months ago. Back then, I was the pessimist among us, suggesting it'd be February before the profession was improved in any meaningful way.

Anything new? Dramatic improvements? I notice that the "we should be able to harvest way more" discussion is still ongoing. At the time, the hot issues were "planet-specific hunting blinds", making camo kits worthwhile, a Ranger specific hunting weapon and more useful traps (including making them usable on CH pets in PvP).

Thanks

Have you seen my stealth proposal? Would you have come back if they gave us that?

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.
