And Huntseeker gets...no prize.
Think Talus, sludge panthers.
Rancor Valley, no one goes there, it's too crowded...(sorry Mr. Berra, but I had to say it).
Instead, stand on the balcony with about as many traps as you can possible have in your inventory and start tossing. Boring, not cost effective, but fairly simple.
All in all, scout xp is a better deal at 8-1. Trapping is 25-1 (gag, even maxed t'aint much). Survival is 5-1 , but is not really time effective.
Back to Endor, and the boids.... big xp all the way around, and good cash too

Sheesh, what's all this complaining about 25:1 conversion. You should try Squad Leader xp. 90:1.

Two types of players:
Grind grind grind
Got to get to the top
Need to be uber leet
Only got a day to do it
can't stop
Then, when they get there they whine that the're no content in the game, they can singleshot pretty much any creature on any planet and killing cavemen is no fun, even if it rakes the cash in.
Other type?

Hang on, I think I've got a couple of old weapons in my pack, they're a bit worn but they'll get you started.

Sad thing is, with the way the game mechanic is set up now (greed and avarice, instant gratification) the former is becoming more and more common. On the other hand, the uberleet tend to be way out in their own little corners of the universe, I've got mine. Addignore is wonderful.
Last week I bumped into a couple of characters I knew when I first got ingame. Back then they were just 'cool'. One was like steady, working his way through professions he enjoyed, might find the onethat got his unlock, might not. The other was, well, rich. Had a stack of holocrons this high in his house, just for show. Knew what profs to go after, was going jedi asap.
Neither of them play their jedi much these days, other than to get stuff for their main toons (a crafter and a doc). It's boring, too muchhassle, they've got to a certain level and lost interest. Got tired of the endless leet speak, gank squads, yada yada.
So they asked what I'm doing now. When I said Ranger I got a huge "COOL!" from them both. One of them is looking to become a Ranger as it looks like way more fun and at least "theres always something to do".
Anyhow, there was a moral / point to this, but I got distracted reading a whiny tell from some git that loadkilled me yesterday and can't figure out why I won't track the parrot for him today. Sheesh.
