Best wow ever.. "Wow man, this camp is cooler and bigger than my freaking house!!!"

I love being a Master Ranger. I love the fact that if there are more than two of us at any given time in one area, it's worthy of a screen shot. I see tons and tons of artisan this, and fighter that wandering around, ppl just grinding out professions to either kill a lot, or build a lot. My profession does not concentrate on guilding x amount of this, or worrying about crit fails, ruining hours worth of work.

We Rangers enjoy our Profession for what it is, unique and fun. Yes, we are a tad bit broken, yet you see most of us hanging in there because we would rather be broken, than have any other profession.

I have to give a big /salute to all my fellow Rangers and Master Rangers out there. Keep up the good work, the great posts, and have fun..

Some recent development that have boosted my ego. My guild is evaluating new members and last night one of the recruits had his friend along. I got to hear the "See! I told ya it was freaking huge! How can you keep a city in you pack?" comment. *contented sigh* I am always getting asked to track. I had a crawling race last night, which I won handily. And I also like it when my group ditches me, the say I can just catch up since I am an uber Ranger....

Isn't that funny? It seems a lot of of us like mountains! My Master Scout quest for myself before I trained Novice Ranger was to climb the highest mountains on every planet. Hehe. That was back when maskscent never broke. My favorites are still the volcano on Lok (sit quietly until the firebirds come out of the lava), and the floating stones on Dathomir.

I am not sure about the actualy usefulness of the Ranger profession, but I've noticed that Rangers are the type of people who MAKE themselves useful, no matter their actual skills. And even the skills that don't seem very useful are still more fun than any of the other professions. I like crafting well enough, and I like shooting at things well enough, but all the skills in crafting/combat professions seem pretty linear and monotonous when compared with tracking, traps, maskscent, and the high tech field base.

Command and Conquer lasted a month. Diabllo II lasted two months. I've been a Scout/Ranger for 7 months straight. That has to mean something.

Thanks to Delta, NRaas (and Mineras), the forum Rangers, and the Radiant Rangers for making this game so much fun!!!!

Arghhhhh Diablo 2!!! Only reason I played that game for so long was because Everquest just plain sucked...oh and Battle.net is free. Anyway.

A crawling race?!? Never done that one haha, though I did crawl around Moenia once.

As far as my favorite "sunset" spots, there's this river south of Dearic on Talus that gets my vote. The other night I was out there fishing, and 2 Tortons spawned about 30m away from me. That was fun, watching the 2 Tortons play and lounge around their lair while I fished into the night.

Mm.. Pleasure camping. (a.k.a. Grinding while smelling the roses) I like to find the highest mountain in a region and build my camp right on the highest point. The view, esp. if you turn your distance settings up, is magnificent. It makes you feel so.. solitary. It's like the rest of the world has disappeared, and it's just you, the mountains, and the occasional spawn of rasps that you can mark for extinction when you're done taking in the sights..

Also, the plains of Corellia are beautiful at sunset.. You can see all the way to the horizon. Likewise rainstorms are great on the plains.

Finally, setting up a flooded camp on the coast, and fishing while the sun rises. Uncomparable.

I love the mountains as much as the next guy.

I have a house about 2800m north of the Mining (agro) Outpost on Dantooine. 1000m in between 2 players cities right on the river. I can fish, nice slopes for a beautiful sunrise, and the server seems to spawn huurton's and bol's right across the river from me. 700m behind me, it spawns a FS guy right near that burial thing. I love it there.

From my balcony (Large Tatooine), sometimes a hunting party wanders through, waves, and says "Nice house Ranger, need a roommate?"

The sign on my house read "Ranger Station", since I am currently in school it reads "Hon's House Go Away"

I didn't put that up there to be rude, but people are people, if you tell them not to they will anyway. So my house is public, so they can go in.

/agree with all

I have to say I'm still a long way from Master Ranger, but I just Love this profession. When my Holo commanded CH I had the opportunity to Master Scout and figured, what the heck, I love Scout - let's just do Ranger too.

I'm more excited about Ranger now than CH!

Seriously this post is a breath of fresh air. In a world of negativity it is down right nice to hear from others that can find something in the game they just enjoy!

I just moved my house from Tatooine out to the Agrilat Swamp on Corellia. I like to fish from my front doorstep in the swamp pools and snipe rasps and humbabas from there too.

The mountains are cool, but give me a spooky foggy swamp any day!

not to mention we make some serious bank

(harvesting hard to find high quality meats and such and than selling them at insane buying prices)

100+ cpu for corelian avian meat which i can rake in about 5-6k of meat an hour easily thanks to my area tracking to find the good spawn areas
