There are rumours that rangers make good money - this is sorta true. I think the rumours start because most rangers lead a more simple lifestyle so don't need a ton. Compared to an AS who thinks he's poor, we're broke. I generally find that people who come to ranger to get rich are very unhappy. The prof will allow you to sustain yourself and buy a few toys along the way. If you want to get filthy rich and fast as a ranger, you're going to spend obscene hours at the computer hunting.
