I don't think there's anything to address here.

There are only two types of damage now -- kinetic and energy. Some weapons have slight elemental damage (in addition to only being energy or kinetic dealing), but even if creatures had elemental resists, it wouldn't matter a great deal.

With two types of damage, the only thing I could see changing in the future is the percentage of kinetic or energy resist.

Maybe that already exists but just isn't listed.. but pre-CU resists don't translate to the current system, which I think is why there's nothing to list. The definitely couldn't be converted to CU stats (as 100% energy/kinetic resistant creatures wouldn't be killable)

I might be wrong here, though... I haven't seen any official word on it.

Also, realize that this isn't exactly a scout/ranger issue. Creature resists were always viewable by any player, even without novice scout. No skill points needed to be spent to view that.

There's still resists, tamable, stalking, and deathblow--all of which I keep looking for, and can't see anymore. I didn't realize the resists were universally visible, by the way. I've been a Ranger too long.

Anyway--bump. Hoping for more news on this soon.

I can assure you creatures and mobs still have resists, shadow told me a few days ago (when i posted that comment) so it comes right from the dev's mouth. Ive also noticed some mobs take less damage indicating there are resists present even if its only armour reductions.

Creatures still have resists and this data SHOULD be getting displayed, however the UI is not doing it. This is getting fixed in an update, no idea when though.

They do? I doubt that - or better, I doubt that creatures of the same level may have different stats. Ihunted some lvl 79 creatures, different ones (banthas, rock beetles and *scratches head* squills), using the same special, only changing weapons (energy, kinetic, some with elemental damage). I was curious how they would react to different kinds of damage, since /examine didn't talk to me anymore. I noticed that damage dealt and damage absorbed by armor were the same on every single one. I even had a guildmate try this out (a fencer) and he noticed it, too.

I've got the feeling that all creatures are the same now, just a level with different skins on it. As far as I can tell, the only thing that matters on weapons for PvE cince CU is DPS.
