Just a tip re mask scent bonuses...

BE tissues max out at +25 to any stat. There is a display bug that can show higher than this max. Any ranger will want two clothing items giving plus to mask scent. But don't overpay looking for the very, very best, since you won't get any benefit beyond the +25.

I've never had maskscent not be broken by a Krayt...must have real good vision, hehe. I'm also a MCH and spend alot of time looking for and taming high lvl babies. Have never had maskscent broken by lairs of mereks (cl 40-50), and have walked into many rancorgroups without difficulty (does break occasionally, but has always been around the 50-60 m range).

yeah i walk up and pet kimo's all the time, tried a krayt a while ago and i broke right away. mayb if u crawl slowly with lots of camo u can but i have never tried it.

its broke every time for me also but once, i was shocked i had already maxed scouting xp so it didnt tell me i did it (which was very nice to have it tell you, but when you max scout xp it doesnt anymore). I was able to walk right up to him and i did /pet him and within about 25 second the maskscent did break and he ate me, but ive tried like 200 times and got lucky once.

Krayts and any creatures close to that level break even a masters conceal.

ROFL, just think of it like this. The Krayt is the one creature, us rangers are totally worthless against.

Our mask scent breaks at 64m and our camo breas at 64m. I have tried both, while prone, and had the same result. Back when you would get attacked if something broke camo/mask scent, they broke it instantly, then attacked and killed me just as fast. Not fun. I guess the only thing we can do with krayts is track them.
