I have always been under the impression that if someone was an initiate or something, they could just not use any of the skills at all, and carry that one box around, while being a master-something-else.
Am I way off?
That is currently my plan. I am working on FS experience for the alt slot but do not plan to be a Jedi at this point. Therefore I plan on getting Padawan, creating my alt character, and my main will either become an MCH/MRanger or return to crafting (probably Weaponsmith since its so enjoyable), while my alt will take the opposite option. I don't think I will ever get any Vis if I never use my LS or other abilities. I expect I will learn some Jedi powers if I return to crafting mind you, it just seems to valuable to have an LS to defend myself if checking harvesters and having the CL will be useful - or perhaps Force Cloak. I have no interest in PvP though so I can't see going full template Jedi. If I wanted that it would be simpler to go buy KOTOR.

General rules of getting visibility is equiping your sabre within 32m of an npc or player. Tuning a crystal within 32m of a player/npc or using any force ability within 32m of any npc or players not in your group. As yet I have kept my vis low and received no BH attention. I have dismantled my sabre and placed my crystals/pearls in my bank along with my robes and holocrons.
As yet I can only get 4240 Ranger along with Master Rifles. I could go Master CH/Master Ranger as stated above but with only 14 points left I wouldnt even have points left for a novice combat prof.
So, I'm jsut gonna stick wiht 4240 Ranger/Master Rifleman. Should get me above level 60 and a bit more I hope. Sad thing is I could I could master any 2 combat professions but I cant have Master Ranger since it takes up most the most skill points of any profession at present.
