Some great Ideas that get kicked about here, though I agree with Phen on the cloning bit. But what I would like is for camps to stay up during combat and an increase to the "Abandon Camp Radius", because I would like to place a camp and then head out to some layers 200m or 300m away and then get back to my camp with a roring fire waiting for me (would also make a great base of operations for groups). This could also work with the "Mission Terminal" idea. Have the term. spawn 4 or 5 layers inside the extended "Abandon Camp Radius" and you can take the lairs out and return to the camp when you need a break or more lairs. On the other hand, the term. would make grinding XP very easy. Anyhow, just my 2 cents worth

The ideas I'm really fond of here are:
Registering on the planetary map- I think this would be great for group organization. If people get split up or are meeting somewhere, they can just look for their ranger's camp on the map.
Camps persisting through combat/extended abandon range-This would just allow camps to be a little more useful, constantly having to set up new camps can get annoying. I don't really see the reason why the camp would be abandoned so easily anyways.
Defensive bonuses would be nice. SL buffs could be nice too but it may be too narrow a scope. I would rather see buffs that apply to either ranger/scout skills and/or general populace skills(like general combat).
Mission terminals, faction terminals, and minefields I'm kinda sitting on the fence on. These would be nice, but I'm still not sure if they really fit into the ranger role.
I don't like the idea of getting med xp in camps. I feel like this would just cause some kind of afk grinding like it used too.
