Guess at why the negative response: This question from someone who's account was registered in 2003. Classic sign of someone's alt looking to stir some trouble.

Every smartass is a formerly nice, helpful person who encountered one too many dumbasses.

jeeez ppl, anyhow, pure and simple krayts are going to be hard to solo with any template. What rangers have right now will go away. If your friend can do it, ask him for advise. My jedi dies fast out there, my bh dies fast out there, my rifleman dies fast out there. Its all in the tactics used. Thing is that they hit hard if they get within range. Trick is to kite them. SWG has become a mando grouping game, get a group with some healers and some ppl with roots that cant alt between them, and shoot them to death.

I don't want to sound condesending or presunmptious, but let's let people pick their own reason's for being a ranger. I know when i started Ranger I was doing it only for harvesting ability, but now I love the profession to death, yes i did have to climb the tree, and i usually like doing that because it lets me work the ins-and-outs of a profession, but if someone wants to use their final respec to ranger in order to solo krayts, then let's welcome them. I will for two reasons

1. They may end up liking Ranger, in which case they could become a good rangery part of the community, and we're always happy to have them

2. If they are just doing it to solo krayts, then they just blew their last respec (because this will not be possible for very long) and we can all take solice in the fact that even though they annoyed us for a little while for trying to be ranger1337 that they are more annoyed at having to grind up another tree, and wasting one of the most valuable things in the game, the /respec.

if that is the case....my sincerest apologies. We are just tired of hearing others tell us that we are using exploits...that we are an exploited class and that we should do something besides hunt big game. True, you may get the box intitled Master ranger, but until someone has come up to you and said "u are using an exploit man, I'm gonna report you." you are not a true master ranger yet. I applaud your desire to grind and not respec. Seems, like noone cares we have to use WAY more skill points than they do.....they dont care that we have never been given a revamp, they dont care how many times we bail them out.....they only focus on jealousy for something they cannot do. Jealousy is coveting...coveting comes from lust.....and lust is the desire to possess. and what they do not possess is the knowledge that we have earned our status. even if it is a BROKEN trap....we are treating it like we deserve it...for we know that it will be fixed soon. we used to harvest for money....now noone wants to pay more than 5 CPU for anything. we used to track for money....but sometimes radar works better. We used to be good at trapping....but right now, our two nicest traps are both broken. We used to be invited to hunt big game......but we have no combat rating through the ranger tree. and what did we pay for this??? more skill points than ANY other profession. I wonder what some will say when they do fix our traps....revamp our prof and we are still able to solo krayts???? what 'exploit' will we be using then? how will they justify their jealousy then?.....
