i dont care about other ppls fun I find it fun to get other ppl killed.. nothing in the terms of agreement saying that u cant lead another player to his untimely death..

btw i am on bloodfin.. the ppl i AM nice to are those nice crafters who pay 35+ cpu for hides i can provide them.. grieving or not get over it.. thats how i have my fun... and everyone who dosent like it can gladly try and stop me in game and to that one guy who told me to learn how to spell before i post.. i am a cs veteran terms like l337, pwnz, fuxor, suxor, and all the other xor terms got saturated into my brain from that game ya they were around before then but i wasnt exposed to them untill i played that for a year =/

anyways everyone has differing playing times.. i derive fun from seeing other ppl get getting ran over by a kimo that i lead them to..

BUT!!! i do have my limits.. if someone pays me to do something for them i WILL do that one thing for them.. if i get something out of the deal then ya i will help the person out.. but i dont do nothing out of the kindness of my heart because i dont have one =p show me a lil /tip notification and i will take u wherever and to whatever u please the only reason i would do otherwise is if i was in a group on lok or something and i would BENEFIT from leading other ppl to whatever as to help me get exp.. =p

Hehe , well i ain't an evil imperial but i don't follow some code to help every ranger on the server. If you are an imperial you are my enemy, i play as an actual antarian ranger, we are hunted and hated by the empire for our loyalty to the Jedi. I do not train or aid any imperial ranger i run across, in fact i try my best to get them killed. Phecnacine darts on a couple of mountain squills, run to where that imperial ranger is and wait for the darts to wear off and burst, soon that imperial will have to fight two mountain squills and most likely die. I use the environment as my weapon, oh and i'm quite sure that imperial wouldn't have expected anything less. He wants me dead and i want him dead or behind bars, take your pick it really doesn't matter. I serve the Jedi, Commander skywalker has sought out the Antarian rangers to enlist our aid once more, imperial rangers are an afront to our cause and will be dealth with as an enemy not a brother. Some of you really need to learn how to pick your friends. The imperials can learn from imperials, i will offer no knowledge of mine to help them, i don't expect any different from them.

Oh and if that doesn't sink in i'm a Colonel with the rebellion, which do you think i put first? It's about what's right, i WILL NOT AID MURDERERS, SLAVERS, AND THIEVES! That is what the empire is about, these things will come to pass, to the future and the NEW REPUBLIC! Besides prolonged contact with imperials makes me break out in a rash.

I was that ranger who refused to join an organization that aids and supports imperial rangers. Sorry but some of us are made of stronger moral fiber than others( roleplaying here not insulting you in real life).

Eh, it's okay. I'm just saying that I've had nothing but positive interactions with the imperial rangers that I've dealt with. They help me, train me, provide fantastic advice. It's been wonderful. Through the Ranger network, we established the best locations for finding that fantastic Talusian Wooly two weeks ago. That's because members of all kinds contribute and the larger the network is, the better it serves our purpose: to be rangers.

We also provide listings of resource requests, alerts for great hide drops, and we've just started a listing of mob creatures. We'll see how that goes. It's just sad that someone would not take advantage of a system that is freely available to help them.

I won't say I play an evil ranger... I play a ranger that is loyal to the Empire. There are differences. I don't like rebels (call them terrorists) because they destroyed a research station orbiting Yavin IV that I had family stationed on.I group with rebels, and try to convince them of the error of their ways. But I won't lead them to death. I'd much rather convince them to abandon their futile gestures of terrorism and rebellion and come back to being law abiding Imperial citizens.

When you share this kind of info between factions it's counter productive, i know if i found a great resouce i wouldn't be telling imperials where it's at, i don't want them to have good armor and weapons, capice?

I find it very disturbing that any rebel or imp would want to give their enemy any kind of benefits at all.

Wow, some of y'all need a serious reality check.

If Ter wants to be evil, cool, have at it. Welcome to real life, where not everyone who says they will help you actually does. Pull your head outta your --- 4th point of contact--- as the Airborne say, wake up, and quit blindly following people around.

Think about it, ranger is leading a group. They are looking for a baby dingdong. Ranger leads them to a pack of monster peeplekillers. The group can run like hell or fight it out. And how long will it be before said ranger gets a following... who loudly extol his lack of virtues. I did it to a smuggler all one afternoon, totally trashed him in a macro, sent tells to anyone he tried to talk to. He was not happy, but he had it coming.

What goes around comes around.

Oh, and if you think about it, how can Imps be Antarian Rangers... Imps are anti-Jedi.

I'd put in my 2cr about SolidicPwnage's tactics, but we all know that in 6 months time, he'll beshowing how l337 he isin the next kewl game to come along, pwning and fuxxoring the suxxors there. But, just in case he cares, I'll point out that none of those terms are CS terms. They're kiddie lingo used by people who really don't know how to do anything constructive with a computer. Learn how to spell dude. You'll get a lot more respect in the long run. No

I suggest you keep on going the way you are. If the devs dont have a problem with it (or the csrs for that matter) Its fair game. UO was mentioned earlier. Thank god the devs didn't create another trammel when they made this game. you win some you lose some, its a dog eat dog world and all that. as long as you can take it dish the hell out of it. I dont understand these flames. I thought rangers were about survival. my $0.02

Regarding the mixed Antarian Rangers.

I have a mixed group of friends (rebel and imperial). We have one chat room. In that chat room, we just have an understanding -- if you talk about faction, then you should fully expect someone of the opposing faction to use that information to their advantage. Everyone knows it is in good fun -- if you don't want to be hunted when you are an overt, don't tell chat where you are. Common sense.

On that note, we heard the imperials were raiding Coronet. They were silly and started planning it in chat. You can bet that the rebels were declaring faction and on our way to attack. It was quite thrilling -- even thoughour imperial friendsturned tail and hid before I managed to get there.

So long as the boundaries are established, having mixed groups can be a lot of fun. How often do you have enough people of each faction to do a battlefield?

On the other hand, any Antarian Ranger who supports the Empire needs some serious waking up. You are supporting an organization that actively hunted your group down? That is just evil ...

You'll be surprised at the assistance that many rangers would give other rangers.

I like this response about what the organization is all about:
Our initial vision of this "association" is to basically have a loose-knit alliance of Rangers that, in essence, is there to help the profession itself.

Among other things, we will help Rangers advance to master, help them sell their resources at reasonable prices, help them find and experience the advanced planets, dungeons, caves and beasties, go on Ranger only hunts, help
the community by providing ample and reasonable resources, and help forge the Ranger profession by representing a large unified force on the official SWG Ranger forum.

Basically, it operates similar to a union, open to ALL Rangers, regardless of faction and regardless of PA affiliation. Members have the benefits of belonging to a group of elite members, yet have the option of staying independent, which is a trademark of our profession.

---
Thanks to Zkull and all those that made the first step in creating an organization that helps us help each other.
