Well that would of cause depend on what was added in terms of defensive/offensive skills.
But either Ranger/Carbineer or Ranger/Pistoleer, and then add in some BH or SL....
Alternatively I have thought of SL/Pistoleer and just dabble in ranger if the rewrap not good enough or no skill enhancement was made...
For my Ranger/TKM (on tarq) in training I would properly add the as much of the grenade line of commando as possible.

Bearing in mind that i think that our pre-reqs should be exploration and survival this is how my template would end up and to be honest, it would be my perfect template:
Owen's
Recon Unit:
Professions Used:
Ranger: Master
BH: Master
SL: 4,4,1,3
Pre-Reqs:
Novice Scout
Novice Marksman
Exploration 4
Survival 4
Ranged Support 4
Skill Point Usage:
All pre-reqs + master ranger + master BH = 52 skill points remaining all spent in SL.
1 skill point remaining
Skill List:
BH:
- Droid Find
- Improved Duelist Stance
- Droid Track
- Advanced Critical Shot
- Improved Spray Shot
- Improved Concussion Shot
- Improved Underhand Shot
- Improved Eye Shot
- Torso Shot
Ranger: (Waiting on revamp abilities so ill just name the existing ones)
- Camps
- Traps
- Camo Schematics
- Area Tracking
SL:
- Group System Message (Novice SL) - Sends an on screen system message to all group members. (Same as previously.)
- Called Shot (Novice SL) - Significantly increases the accuracy and damage of the next attack to the designated target. Only works for one attack and then must be reapplied. The accuracy and damage bonus increases as the Squad Leader learns more skills.
- Rally Point - Creates a waypoint for all group members. (Functions similar to the /waypoint command.)
- Form Up (Mobility II) - Enhances group movement speed.
- Retreat! (Mobility III) - Significantly enhances group movement speed for a short duration.
- Charge! (Mobility IV) - Significantly enhances group movement speed for a short duration. Places the Squad Leader at heightened risk by reducing their defenses.
- Steady Aim (Strategy I) - Enhances group accuracy.
- High Yield (Strategy II) - Increases the damage output of a single group member.
- Call to Arms (Strategy III) - Enhances group armor ratings.
- Volley Fire (Strategy IV) - Gives group members the chance to bypass enemy armor.
- Tactics (Tactics I) - Enhances group defenses.
- Toughen (Tactics II) - Increases the armor rating of a single group member.
- Blaze of Glory (Tactics III) - Gives or enhances the chance to score a critical hit.
- Paint Target (Leadership I) - Increases the accuracy and damage for all attacks to the painted target in the next 20 seconds (Same as old Volley Fire.)
Armour Certs:
- Battle Armour
- Assault Armour
Mods: (Important Combat Mods)
- Melee Defense: 150
- Ranged Defense: 175
- General Ranged Speed: 55
- General Ranged Accuracy: 115
- Group Melee Defense: 30
- Group Ranged Defense: 20
- Bonus From Duelist Stance: 250 (melee/ranged)
Summary:
When Ranger gets revamped i hope it starts to contribute to this template as it would be exactly what id want to play. If Ranger ends up giving survival and pathfinding bonuses then this template would be a force to be reconned with and most definatly fun for me to play.
This template gives a highly defensive and group enhancer profession. Im able to scout around, hold my own in fights and help my groupmates survive.

Not holding my breath, but when it comes...
I'll probably still be Master Ranger, Master CH... Depending on Scout lines needed I might dabble into Rifleman -x--... Worked like a charm for me before the changed requisites.

Assuming that they fix/balance our traps and we get the combat mods we deserve;
I'd go Master Ranger| Master Rifleman and then I'd pick up Novice CH so I could travel on my mount and pull out my harvest/trap-droid ( once they work ) at the same time.
Then Medic x2xx and 3 lines of FS skills.

Easy, I would stay the same MRanger/TKM, then pick up as much medic as I could, so I could pvp for an hour and end up in a draw like everybody else. No just kidding, I would take the medic tho. I watched a pvpdule the other day,one of my guildies, and allmost fell asleep, my goodness does it all ways take that long ?
The one time I droped from MRanger was pre-cu, so I could make and use my on stim's. I was a stuborn one who did not believe in get'n a doc. buff unless I was going after something special.....but i regress...
Medic just to increese my surivability, I miss a little in my templet.
