Thread: What would your template be if Ranger was a two tree profession?

Because this is, most likely, one of the changes to occur during our Revamp, I would like to assume the best and start planning my template. Here is a wonderful web site to use for templates, which gives every skill bonus and description using the current profession statistics.

Improved Overwhelming Shot : Improved Overwhelming Shot This enhancement to the Overwhelming Shot ability is much more powerful and will reduce more state resists.

Feign Death : Feign Death This command allows the smuggler the ability to pretend he has been incapacitated. Enemies might just leave the smuggler alone...

Depends on what the revamp brought, of course.
But I like the sound of these templates:
Master Ranger, Master Squad Leader, Rifleman 0304
Master Ranger, Master Squad Leader, Bounty Hunter 4304
Master Ranger, Master Bounty Hunter, Rifleman 0304
Master Ranger, Master Bounty Hunter, Medic 0440 and some FS skills
all of these would be using only standard skills. A Ranger template with some Jedi skills could be interesting as well.

Oops! I calculated based on Ranger requiring only 2 Scout lines!
Well, this is whatI came up with...
I'd stay Master Ranger/Master Rifleman and pick up Medic 0/4/3/0 or drop the 3rd line of Medic for FS stuff...

Probably just pick up Medic or round out a few more trees of SL that I already have in waiting, depends on the benefits of each really. I doubt I'd ever be that good at healing, so probably just SL 0440 or something similar, since I already got MBH/0300 sl.

I'm a master rifleman, master scout, master Ranger with the luck line in fs. Not sure why i picked the luck line but i did and i don't regret it. if the sp reqs ever change I wouldn't even care. My template is going to be the way it isuntil the day the game ends.

I am Master Ranger/Master Teras Kasi at the moment. I expect I would pick up some healing skills, and when it came time to commit 24 Skill Points to FS skills, I would so and keep whatever healing skills I could with the remainder, or get a vendor if possible. I really like this template so far. Its not uber, but its capable and seems to work well, albeit slowly. I am still testing it out and learning the profession, but I don't think I want to mess with a good thing just yet. 
However, some healing of any sort would be worth having for sure.

It would depend on how the prereqs balanced out but I would probably dabble in CH.

I would swap the reclaimed trees in scout over to marksman - so Master Marksman, Master Rifles, Master Ranger. That bit of extra accuracy and ability to use some other weapons better would come in handy. Also, lethal shot is a nice special to alternate between ranged shot with.

well, I'd have to start with the fact that the only two branches of the scout tree that i think should translate to Ranger are Hunting, and Exploration. My reason for this isthattwo of theRangers biggest advantages (or rather should be) are the Creature To-Hit mods, and TN. Thatgives me 28 sp to spend. First thing i would do ispick up SL 0404. That leaves about 12sp. With those id justpick up some blocks in marks man to get some extra speed and accuracy.
Overall that would leave me with a rather hard core hunter with the speed, accuracy, and defense mods to let me dealsignificant damage toany aggressor.

Pretty easy for me - I'd keep Medic (to add to my Rifle/Ranger skills)
