I remember when i was still a noob, roaming the golden fields outside of Tyrena, and the gubers and Durni were in all out war with each other, and the corellian butterflies would join in to!

It might just be me, but it seems my maskscent isn't as effective now as well. i washunting kaduus, and there was a plains hunter very nearby (ferocity 9 i believe). he got up and started to move towards me...maskscent still ok...he must have picked up kaduu scent...but then, in an instant...i was attacked, no message saying camo broke on nothing, and my pet, who i had guarding me, didn't react to the attack, i had to manually tell him to get that cat off my butt. Well, at least makes things more interesting out there.

Yes, creature ferocity level is now working. I saw a domestic tusk cat attack some fambaas. Domestic tusk cat isn't even an aggressive creature, but it's ferocity level is 8. To truly test my theory I pulled out my rancor, (not BE), ferocity level 10. Sure enough, not long until he decides to start snacking on some gualamas. Even when I told him to stay, off he goes, starts walking towards something, I tell him to stay. Does he stop? Nope. Keeps going back for seconds.

Althought I vaguely remembered something about this in a patch a while back and that we'd had a thread on it here, I was out hunting this afternoon and noticed the following:

Scyk will aggro on pretty much any injured creatures. I was sniping into some squill and, if they went near any scyk they'd get aggroed with the whole 'pack' going for the injured squill.

Squill, once injured will start attacking whatever non-squill is nearby.

KREETLES are my friend Working a dewie lair, one of them aggroed on me and I was a wee bit low on the HAM bar. So I beat feet back to where I'd seen a kreetle lair, the dewie charged into the cloud of reds, still focused on attacking me but the beetles aggroed on the dewie. I popped the lair and another wave of kreetles attacked the dewie. I went off and sat on the hillside to recover while they took the big lizard down to the bone

Animals (and NPC) with a bleed on will follow you for mile after mile. The dewie chased me way further than the usual couple of 100m and then started pacing about where it gave up rather than return to the nest. Next 'tick' of the bleed it took off after me again.

By far the worst for this though was some of the Sennex thugs. I stuck a bleed on a couple while /bursting out of their cave. They followed me for fully ten minutes, or all the way into the corner of the map and then most of the way back to Eisley.

Yep finished maxing out my Trapping Skills by drawing aggro of Fambaa's into all kinds of animals mobs. Then peaced out and stood there and got 400+ in trapping experience with each trap. Took a couple of hours to get the four boxes. The slowest part was driving back to the trainer.

I know when I first started doing Rifleman, I used to shoot across a herd at another one so they would aggro and not get at me. Glad to see it's coming around again. This should have never changed.

Well I don't think it ever stopped working in the newbie spawns. When I was grinding rifles 1-3 a while back I did it in the newbie spawns outside naboo. The flesh eating chubas and nunas attacked each other quite alot. I also used to notice it alot on dantooine with quenkers though it is happening alot more often now, which is great

Slightly relate to this - I thought I'd do Whips quest at the village now we're back to phase 1, and I must say its driving me nuts! The damn villagers I keep rescuing keep picking fights with the Nightsisters while I'm trying to escort them back to the village. Needless to say one zap and they are dead "you have failed..." grr. Why can't we camo these village noobs?

Just to add my observations to this. I was helping a group of friends with krayts a couple of weeks ago (since camo and traps are useless against krayts, I more felt I was helping as a rifleman more than a ranger). A krayt spawned on top of me (this is happening too often imho), and dizzied me. Fortunately, at the sametime, a razorback boar came out of nowhere and the krayt started attacking that. The boar lasted long enough for someone to come and get me out of there. Very handy indeed.

I like it that the creatures are fighting each other, it means we have a better chance of not getting unwanted attention, and also gives us more harvest-targets of opportunity as long as we get one shot on the looser

Exactly! With the increased Krayt Spawns I have had to drap an angry krayt into a next of dragonets or a herd of Tusken Raiders on more than one occassion.
