...wild animals randomly fighting each other since the new patch? I've been on Rori and for some reason the Spineflaps are at war the Squals!

Yeah seen the same. Spinflaps vs NPC's and squalls, and on Yavin yesterday gackle bats vs mamiens... curiouser and curioser!

I've seen this happening in the past already, most often involving rancors.

Most "interesting" fight between creatures that I ever saw: Malkloc Plainswalker vs Enraged Rancor (*yawn*, the plainswalker couldn't deal any noticable damage to the rancor and the rancor which ofc started the fight naturally couldn't deal *any* damage to the plainswalker as that one is 100% resitant vs kinetic damage).

After 15 minutes I decided to put an end to this pointless thing and killed both .

It actually reminds me of the very very old days. When running around on Endor in the few months after game release, fights bewteen creatures could be found in many places on the forrest moon. Spawn reworking minimized this in later months.

In my observations, there seem to be creature factional enemies. For example, on Endor, Jaxes don't seem to get along with many other creatures. They can often be used to attack other creatures when you are in a pinch to escape. These animocities between creatures seem to be creature specific. If you increase the spawns so that large populations of opposing creatures are nestled close together, you get all out wars. This use to be true in an area directly south of the Eastern Tree Village on Endor. I would run around and just watch to see who would win out. Sometimes as much as 30 on 30. A couple of well placed rifle shots can even help things out ....

not that I have ever done that myself ... I would ... never ....

Any time my friends and I come across creatures attacking each other, we bet 10k credits on the winner. It's like e-cockfights.

Yes I have noticed it and was a little ticked off until I needed to use it to my advantage.

I was out on tat gathering eggs and milk. On gorath Tat eggs are at 1000 oq and Cheffy wants them badly. I was also milking banthas and dispatching them for thier hide. I am farming the eggs when an Ancient spawns on top of me. Well he breaks my camo and eats my swoop in one gulp. I start running madly across the dune sea when I stumble into another krayt spawn. The steak I had eaten earler was doing its job, but its moments like these i wish for ubese.

So I am prepared for death when I see on the horizon a group of dewbacks sunning themselves. I book right for the herd and manage to get my scent masked as the dewbacks scented the krayts. I fealt slightly bad for the dewies... their leather hide has a good rating right now too.

Moral of the story: I am using it as a survival technique.

I saw the same thing on Endor the other night. I pulled a mite past a Swirl Prong when promptly attacked the mite pulling it off of me.

Makloks will attack Rancors. Rancors will attack Nightsisters. Bagerasets will attack Rancors, sometimes.

Squill on Endor hate everything not Squill. Mean lil boogers.

Kimos on Talus will attack Torturs, as will rasps. Sometimes fynocks will, sometimes vynocks, but don't bet on it.

My trick is to rub off Rancors on Makloks and then stand just in range and pop rounds into them all.

Was on Tatooine last night (guild was hunting krayts), and periodically dune lizards or dragonets would pitch in and help us out.

lol, i just saw a Seething Bol Crusher and a Slinking Voritor Lizard go at it! but i didn't let them fight it out to the death. because i was a little scared of the Bol, because they have a NASTY disease. so i /stafe2 both, and the bol died then i killed the leezard. it was funny though.

Nice isn't it, I've been doingusingsuchknowledgesince about the 5th week after release (at least until the creature behavior started to get wonky).
